I was checking on the soup pot since André requested it personally, missing its taste. Since it was finished, I nodded to security who was left to guard the kitchen. Zuri wasn't playing with the food and André wasn't playing with his soup.

I went to freshen up in their guest room and before I could make my way out, Giovanni was there pushing me in.

I was so happy to see him that I didn't give him any time to properly lock the door.

In his arms with my legs around him while he holds me up. My lips were on his in seconds, tasting his lips after so long.

It's obvious that he misses me too because I got to hear that familiar moan that taunts me in my dreams and thoughts.

"You're here." I breathe when I get the chance to.

"I missed you." He told me, putting his face on my neck and inhaling deeply.

"I missed you too." I laughed feeling his beard tickling my skin.

Just as it was hard staying back to finish school, I missed the chance to travel with Zuri and I've missed him.

The long-distance conversation indeed rebuilds our relationship. When I graduated, I didn't think he would be there as his job can be demanding based on the new project he's working on. I was surprised to see him there and he stood next to Kyng.

It was my parents and family's first introduction to him. Mommy kept asking about wedding dates and Daddy just wanted to make sure I was happy. My brother spent the entire afternoon asking questions much like Kyng.

Now he's back and I want to know for how long, so I asked.

"I've gotten the next best job." He grinned and I waited for him to continue. "I'll be here as long as Mister Pierce is, so that means I'll be closer to you for a long time and if Zuri is going on any trips across or out of the island then I'll be there too."

"Thank God." I held his face and kissed him again.

A knock came on the door and we pulled away. Getting down off him as he opens the door and I'm shocked to see one of my big cousins there.

"Yow bredda, yuh cyaw in deh suh long an lef mih out yah like watch man security, wih nuh have a party outside. Not because a yuh ooman, nuh disrespect the boss fih frig inna him house and a mih likkle cousin dis. Watch yuh self enuh." Keynoashman warns him.

Gio laughs and pushes him away.

I finished fixing myself and peeked out from behind Gio. "Hey Keyno."

"Chef Dainty." He grins. "Curry deh pon dih menu?"

"Love yuh belly tu much. From police tu soldier, yuh likki likki enuh." I heard Beyú say from down the hall and Keyno went after his sister to bother her.

"Special forces, nuh soldier." He corrects her.

Gio and I followed closely behind, his arm around me and I stayed as close as possible.
