It was another day in the Dream SMP, and people were buzzing around, talking to each other, children playing together, and people just having a peaceful day. Well there are a few that are not having a good day especially someone who was on an island far from the SMP. Tommy was sitting on the beach, his legs being held by his arms as he cried in grief. Dream had come earlier to see him again and everything was alright until he found the secret room that Tommy had made under his house which caused the masked man to get mad and blow up everything that he had including the house and tent. He was also told that he was no longer allowed to go to the nether before he destroyed the portal and left, leaving Tommy alone at his destroyed campsite. While he was crying he didn't know someone had come to his place.

Karl's POV

I walked into the place Sapnap told me where Tommy was exiled at. I was worried about him after I got a vision of him. While I was walking, I looked up at the sky and saw dark smoke coming from the direction I was heading which made me panic.

"Oh god" I said as I started running towards the area. I was finally out of the forest, I wasn't expecting to see everything on fire which made me worry even more since this was where Tommy was staying. I ran around, avoiding the flames and holes that were around the area trying to look for the teen. I then heard crying which made me follow where it was coming from and I could see him, sitting on the beach, crying in between his legs.

"Tommy!" I ran towards him. This made him snap his head up and turned to me with tears filled eyes.

"K-Karl?" he asked softly. His once bright blue eyes that were like the sky no longer had their brightness but were instead replaced by a dull color. His face was covered in dirt and ashes along with some scratches, his hair was covered in grime, and his clothes were full of rips. He even had one show on which made me think of what Dream has been doing to him.

'What have you done to him, Dream?' I asked in my head as I reached him.

"Oh god, what the hell happened here?! Did Dream do this? Are you hurt?" I asked him while trying to check him over but he flinched back and was just looking at me with wide eyes.

“W-Why are you here?” he asked while backing up which made me look at him in worry.

“I-I’m not going to hurt you, Tommy. I swear, I want to see if you were hurt  so that we can take care of it before it gets an infection” I told him softly. He looked at me hesitantly before nodding his head which allowed me to get near him and check his body. It was a good thing that I brought a medical kit along with me. He had a lot of bruises on him as well as burns and cuts, some of which came from a sword which made my heart break slowly as I saw more of them on his body.

"Oh Tommy, this is too much" I whispered softly as he looked down.

"I don't need your pity. You can leave me now" he said, not looking at me.

"Tommy, I'm not doing this out of pity. You shouldn't even be experiencing all of this at all. You're still a kid. You were supposed to have a childhood but it was taken away from you. We were supposed to keep you safe, not put you through those wars and I'm so sorry for it. You deserved to have a childhood. You're a kid, not a soldier" I said as tears were slowly appearing in my eyes. He looked up at me with wide eyes and before I knew it, he had his arms around me which made me freeze up but I soon felt him shaking in my arms which made eyes soften before wrapping my own arms around him.
