Another celebrity couple is getting divorced.
It seemed like the norm these days. Celebrities dating, marrying and then divorcing each other. On one hand, she had thought it strange that celebrities ended up with each other. As in, what were the odds that their true love was in the same profession? On the other hand, it made sense because they could understand what each other was going through. She guessed it was also probably hard for them to meet anyone else - common folk, non-celebrities.
This led to her thinking that she would be a suitable partner for a celebrity. Why? She was an introvert, she needed her space and alone time. So if her celebrity partner was away for work - filming or on tour - it wouldn't bother her as much as it might other people.
She laughed at herself. The directions her thoughts went sometimes amused her. As if dating a celebrity would ever be a possibility for her. Where would they even meet? But that led to an intriguing idea. It was hard for celebrities to meet people. What if there was a service, a match-making service, for that very purpose? For celebrities looking for partners, perhaps with very specific requirements.
Of course, this led to her googling to see if such a thing existed.

They didn't specifically say they catered for celebrities, but she thought it was suitable for that use. Clicking on the sign-up, she started filling it in, just out of curiosity.
What are you looking for in a partner?
- Someone who understands my need for alone time.
- Someone I can talk to about my day and the things that interest me.
- Someone who doesn't mind lots of physical affection (hugs/cuddling).
- Someone who doesn't go out a lot or at least doesn't expect me to go with them.
- Someone who doesn't drink a lot and doesn't mind that I don't drink at all.
The rest of the questionnaire was generic, multiple-choice questions about you, your personality, and your lifestyle. It said that if they need more information to narrow down their matches they would send you a more personalised set of questions.
When she got to the end, she felt as though she might as well submit it. After all, she had filled it out and what was there to lose? She had just turned 30, had barely been on any dates and hated the swiping culture of online dating. At least this way someone else would be doing all of the hard work for her and it would be fun to see if she would match with anyone.
