I'm no construction man but I've built walls before
Brick-hard walls that no one could ever penetrate through
Not even the toughest man
Not even the toughest crane with the giant metal ball
Not even the best demolishing machine
But his eyes seared a hole through the toughest object in the world
That hole burns through my heart everyday,
Making those tiny burn holes through the red flesh of it-
They hurt every time, everywhere,
And I wish I never looked into them
Wish I never saw them
Because they're unhealthy for me
Unhealthy for my health;
I need to work, need to continue
As though they never came into my life
But
There's always a but
They did
And I can't change that
I wish I could, but I can't
The eyes that broke through my wall
The eyes that did what couldn't be done
The eyes I wish I never saw.

broken, bitter unsaid things
PoesiaA collection of my poetry about things in my life that are not very frequently talked about. Let me know if reading these poems makes you want me to write a book using fictional characters but have the same plot as my life.
