Tae Hyung stepped out of the lift and gave a nod in farewell to the two women inside, who stared unabashedly back at him, their eyes shiny and starstruck. As the doors closed and he strode away, the women clasped hands and squealed dramatically while melting slowly to the floor.

"What a fine man!"

"The top 1% of the top 1% of the male species!"

"And such impeccable manners!"

"What a shame he's already taken!"

"I know! Those flowers! And the bunny for their baby!"

"Awww..."

Tae Hyung chuckled when the conversation finally faded and continued on his way. He had encountered the women in the lobby on the ground floor as he waited for the lift. He had thought they were on their way out of the building, but they kept sneaking glances back at him, and when he stepped into the lift car, the two had entered as well.

When he had asked which floor they needed so he could press the button for them, they had both looked dumbfounded before one broke out of her trance, looked at the display of numbers and blurted the digit above the only other lighted knob. Tae Hyung was certain it wasn't their intended destination but feigned ignorance because he was used to meeting strange people. The perils of a handsome face, his hyung always said.

As they travelled up in the lift, the women had 'interrogated' him about who the lucky recipient of his gifts was. Tae Hyung had fibbed and said the tulips were for his husband, and the soft toy was for their newborn son. He'd sent a mental apology to Jin for the lie, but truth be told, he'd been thrilled to say what he said.

"Are you here to see Mr Kim, Dr Kim?" a soft female voice called out when Tae Hyung stopped in front of a closed door.

"Yes," Tae Hyung smiled at the staff gathered at the nurses station opposite the room he was about to enter.

"You're in luck, doctor. Mr Kim is awake now," another female voice piped up. "He was asleep when Mr Jung came by earlier with seaweed soup."

"Oh? Did he leave the soup for Jin?"

"Yes. Mr Kim is having it now. Don't worry, Dr Kim. We heated it up," the nurse hurriedly explained when she noticed Tae Hyung's brows furrow with concern.

"Thank you," Tae Hyung flashed a bright smile of appreciation before disappearing into the room. He was oblivious to the effect he had as half of the women swooned while the other half fanned themselves frantically.

"I wish we had more like him on staff," someone commented, and there was a chorus of agreement.

In the room, Jin had just put the lid over his empty soup bowl when the door slid open to reveal Tae Hyung. When he saw the bunny in the other man's hand, his hopes rose but before he could say anything, Tae Hyung was placing the items in his hand on a side table and then grabbing the pillow behind him. Jin sighed because he knew what was about to happen.

"Tae, please stop fussing. I'm fine."

"No, you're not fine, Jin. You just had open heart surgery AND a baby," Tae Hyung explained patiently as he fluffed the pillow and then tucked Jin's blankets securely around him.

"But is this really necessary? You fluff my pillow and straighten my blankets every time. Then, when Hobi visits, he does the same things. I'm surprised my pillow still has fluff in it after all the torture that you both put it through," Jin griped.

"Fine! Then I'll just fluff your pillow, and I'll leave your blankets for Hobi to straighten. How's that?" Tae Hyung asked with one eyebrow raised in challenge.
