"Everyone is the hero of their own life story." -John Barth
Donald Na had grown tired of the hand that fate had dealt him with. He and his mother had suffered under his stepfather's abuse. He had been bullied and mistreated by his classmates and teachers. After Donald had lost his mother to illness, he decided that he'd no longer sit still and take shit.
He overcame the obstacles in his life. He beat the shit out of his classmates, finally having no reason to hold back. He got revenge against his teacher and his stepfather.
He still had a major obstacle in life: the current societal system. Right now, he was at the bottom of the barrel. He needed to climb higher and become stronger. He didn't want to wallow in the filth below. He wanted to be the one looking down on others from the top.
"You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." -Harvey Dent
Donald didn't care who he hurt. The only person that mattered to him was himself. The only thing he cared about was his own survival in this cruel and fucked up world.
Nobody had helped him back then. Nobody had saved him. Aside from his mother, nobody had cared about him. So why the fuck should he give a shit about anyone else?
