Now let the story begin.

This is nice. While I do enjoy training with Erza, it's the moments when we can relax and enjoy each other's company that I enjoy most.

[Y/N] thinks to himself as he and his girlfriend sit on the couch next to each at his place after spending a good chunk of the day training.

Suddenly, [Y/N]'s pet cat [C/N] jumps onto the couch and begins kneading his owner.

[Y/N] : Ouch, be careful with those claws of yours bud.

[C/N] meows happily and begins purring, making Erza giggle.

After a moment of silence Erza speaks up.

Erza : Can I ask you something [Y/N]?

[Y/N] : Sure. Is something wrong babe?

Erza : No, there's just been something I've wanted to do with you for a while now, and I've finally gathered up the courage to ask.

Her boyfriend blushes profusely hearing this, thinking she's talking about....you know.

Erza sees her boyfriend's reaction and realizes what he's thinking before becoming flustered herself.

Erza : I didn't mean that [Y/N]! I meant c-cuddling...

Cuddling? Why would she ask me if we could cuddle?

[Y/N] : Of course we can cuddle Erza, you never have to ask if we can.

Erza : Alright. Thank you [Y/N].

She scoots closer to him and slowly wraps her arm around his shoulder with a look of unease on her face that doesn't go unnoticed by [Y/N].

It seems to me like Erza is uncomfortable with this. If that's the case, then why did she ask to cuddle then?

[Y/N] : Is everything ok babe?

Erza : Y-yes, I'm just trying to get situated.

She begins leaning on her boyfriend's shoulder with the same expression as before, causing [Y/N] to speak up.

[Y/N] : Ok be honest with me Erza. Do you really want to cuddle? I've been watching you and it doesn't seem like you want to do this. Babe, I love you, and the last thing I want is for you to do something that you're not comfortable with. So please, don't feel like you have to cuddle up to me if you don't want to.

Erza : I'm sorry [Y/N], I didn't mean to give you the impression that I don't want to cuddle with you, because I do.

[Y/N] : Then why did you look so uncomfortable?

She sighs and gives [Y/N] a sad look.

Erza : Intimacy isn't something I'm used to [Y/N]. You know that you are the first boyfriend I've ever had, and I am without a doubt that I love you dearly. I want to hug you, kiss you, and be affectionate with you like a normal couple, I just don't know how. When we got together, I didn't have the slightest clue how to go about being in a relationship, but with the help of Lucy and Juvia, I'm getting better. Please be patient with me [Y/N], for one day I'll be the girlfriend that you truly deserve.

[Y/N] : Erza...

Oh no he's going to break up with me. I shouldn't be surprised. After all, who would want to be with someone who doesn't even know how to cuddle with their partner?

To her surprise however, [Y/N] simply smiles and kisses her.

[Y/N] : I already told you babe, I don't want you to do anything you aren't comfortable with. If you want me to, I'll help you work on being intimate. I love you Erza, and nothing's gonna change that.

She looks at him with nothing but adoration in her eyes.

Erza : T-thank you [Y/N], I appreciate that greatly.

He smiles as [C/N] jumps off his lap and trots off to somewhere else in the house, allowing [Y/N] to adjust himself so he can wrap his arms around his girlfriend.

Erza : W-what are you doing [Y/N]?

[Y/N] : Getting comfortable. I figured that I'd initiate the cuddling so that you can get used to it.

Erza : That's not a bad idea, this feels really nice.

She says with a content smile forming on her face.

[Y/N] : See babe, intimacy is nothing to be nervous about? Ready to try cuddling a little?

Erza nods as she leans into him and hesitantly rests her head on his shoulder.

Despite her hesitation and unease at her earlier attempt, Erza finds herself greatly enjoying this.

Now I feel incredibly foolish for being so unnerved all this time. There's a warm fuzzy feeling growing in my heart. Being intimate actually feels quite nice, especially since it's with [Y/N].

With an adorable smile on her face, Erza unconsciously begins nuzzling her face into the crook of [Y/N]'s neck, making him smile.

[Y/N] : My my, seems like you're enjoying yourself babe.

Erza : I am. While I was still a little hesitant at first, cuddling with you is nothing short of pleasant.

She suddenly looks up at him with a stern gaze.

Erza : For now on, you and I will be cuddling together every evening [Y/N]!

The red-haired mage exclaims as [Y/N] flinches a little from her booming voice.

Erza : I apologize for shouting [Y/N], I'm enjoying this so much that I got carried away.

[Y/N] : No need to apologize babe, I'm just happy you're becoming content with being intimate me. If you enjoy cuddling with me this much, then we can do it whenever you want.

Erza : I love you [Y/N].

[Y/N] : I love you too Erza.

They both smile as the two continue cuddling before [C/N] returns out of nowhere and joins in, purring loudly as he gets pet by his owner and his owner's girlfriend.
