Now let the story begin.

As he walks down the streets of Magnolia, Fairy Tail member [Y/N] [L/N] begins hearing people talking about him and his relationship with Erza Scarlet.

Random Guy #1 : I still can't believe [L/N] somehow got Erza Scarlet as a girlfriend.

Random Guy #2 : I know right? What does she see in him?

Random Guy #3 : She's probably dating him out of pity or something, what other reason could there be?

Random Guy #2 : Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, why else would someone beautiful and strong like Titania date someone like him?

The three laugh as [Y/N] continues walking with a look of hurt in his eyes.

I've heard it all before, but it still hurts nonetheless. Everyone seems to think I don't deserve to be with a woman like Erza, and honestly....they might have a point. I'm not that strong, good looking or smart. The only reason I'm a part of Fairy Tail is because of my powerful illusion magic. Besides that, what worth do I have?

Tears begin forming in his eyes as he picks up his pace while more people start talking about him.

Random Guy #4 : Is he crying? What a baby!

Random Girl #1 : Poor guy, he must have heard all the terrible things people have been saying about him.

Random Guy #4 : Who cares? It's all true. If he can't take a little ridicule, he's even more spineless than we all thought.

Unable to take any more of their harsh words, the tears begin to flow as [Y/N] runs off all the way to the apartment he shares with his older sister [S/N].

When he gets there, [S/N] sees the tears in her brother's eyes as her protective nature kicks in.

[S/N] : What's wrong [Y/N]?! Did something happen?!

Calming down enough to answer her, [Y/N] speaks up.

[Y/N] : D-do you think I'm good enough for Erza sis?

He asks her between sobs.

[S/N] : What do you mean? Of course you are! Why are you even asking me that?

[Y/N] begins telling her all the things people have been saying about him, causing [S/N] to get angry beyond words.

I have half a mind to go deal with those jerks myself, but my anger is nothing compared to what Erza's will be when she finds out about this.

Pulling her brother into a comforting hug for a few moments, [S/N] let's go and gives her brother a small smile.

[S/N] : I'll be back soon little brother, just relax until I return.

[Y/N] : Where are you going?

[S/N] : Don't worry about it. I won't be gone long.

With that, she leaves the apartment and heads to Fairy Tail in search of Erza.

No one hurts my brother's feelings and gets away with it. Luckily for me, [Y/N] has a protective girlfriend who won't be happy to hear what people have been saying about him.

Timeskip

Arriving at the guild, [S/N] immediately spots the person she came to see.

[S/N] : Erza!

The s-class mage hears her yell and walks over to her.

Erza : Hello [S/N], did you need something?

[S/N] : I have something to tell you, and you're not gonna like it.

Hearing this, Erza's smile disappears and is replaced by a serious expression.

Erza : What is it [S/N]?

[S/N] proceeds to tell her what's been going on with her boyfriend, and Erza is absolutely pissed to put it mildly.

The nerve of these people! No one has any right to say such cruel and untrue things about my boyfriend! I'm going to take care of this now!

Erza : [S/N], go back to the apartment. I'll be there in a bit.

She says in a dark tone before walking away.

Making her way into town, Erza looks around at everyone and speaks up, gaining their attention.

Erza : I heard that several things have been said about my boyfriend [Y/N]....and I want to put a stop to it. He is the kindest, sweetest, and most amazing man I've ever met, and anyone who says he doesn't deserve me or that I'm dating him out of pity is dead wrong. I love [Y/N], and if I hear anyone say bad things about him, we're going to have a problem. So please keep anything negative about [Y/N] to yourself, thank you.

She tells everyone in the vicinity of her in a very passive aggressive manner and with a sharp glare before heading to the apartment.

Bursting through the door, Erza wastes no time and pulls her startled boyfriend into a tight loving embrace as [S/N] smiles.

I'm so glad my brother has a girlfriend like her, but if she ever breaks his heart imma throw hands.

Erza : I am so sorry [Y/N], I had no idea people were badmouthing you and our relationship until [S/N] told me. If I had known, then I'd have made sure it stopped a lot sooner. Please know that I absolutely do love you [Y/N], and nothing anyone says or thinks will change that.

[Y/N] breaks free of her grip and smiles at his girlfriend.

[Y/N] : R-really Erza?

Erza : Yes. I know words can hurt, but what people have said about you isn't true in the slightest. I love you [Y/N].

[Y/N] : I love you too Erza.

She smiles as they share a short kiss before cuddling up to each other on the couch as [S/N] leaves the room to give her brother and his girlfriend some privacy.
