Chapter 22

The four ninja were on there way to find Tsunade after picking up a lead on her from a bar. After Naruko was shown the third step of her new jutsu they started there journey to Tanzaku town. Although the trip didn't take long getting info on Tsunade's exact location was a bit harder. After all it was a gambling town and any information costs money or they want you to gamble for it. The entire time they looked Naruko and Y/n were trying to perfect their jutsu.

While walking Naruko gets a bit distracted going over to a booth with an old women giving out scratch lottery. To everyone's surprise she actually won making her frog wallet full again after the pervy sage drained it. 

Naruko: Holding up her wallet "He's cuter when he's chubby isn't he Y/n~"

Y/n: "Nice job sis I think you got back everything that the perv spent"

Jiraiya: (I cant believe she won off of one ticket, kid must have a knack for gambling. If only she was that sharp on her jutsu. Now, we need to focus on finding Tsunade, where could she be? She couldn't have gotten far in such short time. Better find some high ground and look around, if i remember correctly this town surrounds a castle) "Hey Naruko this way and where is Y/n and Najeda?"

Close by Y/n would be dragging Najeda out from a bar with the women pouting. 

Y/n: "She has like zero focus for anything that doesn't contain alcohol"

Najeda scratches the back of her head with a smile

Najeda: "What can I say I worked up a small thirst while looking"

After that small distraction the four head to the roof of a building to get a better view of things only to see in the distance a large destroyed building.  

Naruko: "What happened, its like a typhoon hit it"

Jiraiya: "Yeah"

Najeda: "This gives me a bad feeling"

 A crowed of people run past them all screaming and running away from something. 

Jiraiya: "Hey you there whats going on, what are you running from?" he called out to one of the people running

Man: "If your smart you'll run too, there's a monster up there"

Najeda: "Calm down. What kind of monster?"

Man: "A snake, a huge snake. It crushed the castle  without even trying" He the continued running 

Najeda and Jiraiya look to each other giving a nod knowing exactly who's responsible.

Naruko: "Hey wait-" she's cut off my Y/n grabbing her shoulder

Y/n: "Don't bother with him sis, I think we should take a look at this snake ourselves"

Rushing to the destroyed remains of the castle they see no sighs of anyone and continue there search elsewhere. They search into the night with the two genin being rather annoyed at this point. 

Naruko: "This is getting ridicules, how many places are you gonna drag us. I'm starting to think this old lady doesn't even exist"

Jiraiya: "In the meantime well get a bite to eat in here"

They stop outside a Tavern

Najeda: "I like the way you think Jiraiya" 

Y/n: "Of course you would, ya drunk"

Naruko: "What are you thinking about it's a tavern, you trying to be a bad influence on us, we're underage!"

Jiraiya: "You idiot, nobody is making you two do anything. Just have a snack and stay out of the grown up's way"
