Chapter 29

We open up to team seven walking over a hill being greeted with a view of a small village. Naruko looks on excited while the rest of her team looks out.

Y/n: "Here it is, the village being attacked by rouge ninja"

Naruko: "Then what are we waiting for!"

She tries to run ahead but get's held back by Y/n grabbing the back of her collar. 

Y/n: "Hold it sis, we gotta do this without rushing in. Be smart not reckless."

Naruko: "Okay then what do you think we should do?"

Y/n thinks for a moment before taking off his headband and tucking it away.

Sakura: "Y/n, what are you doing"

Y/n: "Being smart. Rogue ninja know how other ninja gather information and think. So it's likely that one or more of them are hiding in the village looking out for us. But if we hide our headbands we can pass as normal people, sure we could transform but our chakra could give us away"

Satsuki: "So if we just hide our headbands it should be enough to give us some cover at least for a little while"

Y/n: "Exactly, we should also split up. Naruko and Sakura you two are one group and Satsuki and me will be another. Kakashi sensei you'll be alone"

Sakura: "Wait a sec why are you making these decisions, it should be up to Kakashi sensei"

Y/n: "uh.."(Crap think I got a bit to bossy)

Kakashi: "No I think this will work out just fine. It was his plan so we'll go with his team formation. Let's meet up at the north side of the village in two hours"

Nodding everyone split up in the assigned groups. With Satsuki and Y/n the two walked through the towns streets looking around at the more or less normal looking state.

Satsuki: "This place is being hit my rouge ninja?"

Y/n: "It looks normal enough, nothing looks damaged and the people don't seem to be in any danger"

Satsuki: "Y/n"

Y/n: "What's up?"

Satsuki: "Since we have a moment together I wanna ask you about something. Your pretty close with Naruko, I wanna know why. I mean, your skilled enough to be made a genin several times over but you stayed with her each time"

Y/n: "That's kinda out of nowhere, what brings this on?"

Satsuki: "Just answer the question!" she shouts

Y/n: "Okay no need to yell. I suppose we're close because we were alone form the start. We only had each other in the world. Everyone saw us as monsters... but I don't really care."

Satsuki: "Hm?"

Y/n: "As long as I have Naruko and Hinata I'm happy"

Satsuki: "Hinata?"

Y/n: "Oh right, I started dating her actually."

Satsuki: "D-dating her!?"

Y/n: "Yeah, a little bit ago we went on a date and we made it official. She was all shy and hesitant about it" he laughs slightly

Satsuki: "So shy and hesitant is your type..." she looked down almost disappointed

Y/n: "I wouldn't say that but with Hinata, sure. I mean you could qualify as my type"

Satsuki: "Wait what!?"

Y/n stops turning to face the Uchiha

Y/n: "Yeah your strong, skilled and have a clear goal in mind. I could see myself dating someone like you easily."
