Chapter 8

"I have to say Doctor that coming in here was an amazing idea." Larry said to him very sarcastically and The Doctor just said back without catching on to that "I know right this is very exciting." Larry just gave him a black look before saying "I was being sarcastic." The Doctor just looked at him and said very unconvincing "yeah me too." Larry just put his head in his hand while Sally let out a little grin, Robert then quickly said "guys we really don't have time for incase you guys had forgotten where we are." The Doctor then quickly said "yeah right sorry, I got a bit lost then anyway who or what are you?" "I am everywhere and everything here." It said back Sally quickly said "yeah that clears a lot up." "It does Sally didn't you just listen to what it said, it's everything and everywhere meaning that this whole place is you, am I right so that means I was wrong this isn't another dimension, wow that doesn't happen often it's quite a nice feeling actually being wrong for once." The Doctor said back, Sally quickly said back to him "consented Doctor, what are you trying to say here?" He then said back "sorry, what I'm trying to say is this whole place is an entity a living being and it's created the Shadow Demons." The Entity said back to that "I didn't create the Shadow Demons they found me while they were searching for food and they woke me from my century long sleep and I promised them an endless supply of planet for them to feast on if they fed me." The Doctor quickly said back "so how does this little arrangement work for you?" The Entity "The Demons find planets that are full of life and they feed on a small area of the planet to recharge their ability..." The Doctor jump in and said "and you get the rest of the planet." "Yes." The Entity said back to him. Sally then said "how many planets have you done this too, how many people have you killed?" "I have lost count of how many worlds I have devoured." The Entity said back to her.

The Doctor then said back "I'm afraid that this planet is protected." The Entity said back "you can't stop me, people have tried and failed before." The Doctor smiled and said "oh buddy you haven't meet anyone like me before." The Entity just said "then tell me who you are?" "I'm The Doctor, I'm the man who stop the monsters and saves everyone." He said as he smiled but The Entity just laughed at him "what so funny?" The Doctor said back in confusion, The Entity just said back to him "how confident you are Doctor but all it takes is a bit of fear and you're all crippled and useless." And as he said that suddenly all the Shadow Demons moved closer in on them are quickly started turning into there worst fears right before there eyes.

Robert quickly said "Doctor now if you have any bright ideas we would love to hear you know before we all die." The Doctor just looked in panic as they were surrounded by thousands of Shadow Demons too many for a sonic pulse to be able to stop them and Sally just said in a utter panic "can't you just do that thing with your sonic again that seem to work the last time." The Doctor quickly said back to her "yeah well I hate to tell you this Sally but it only work on a small number of them." She just said "so what are we going to do?" "I'm thinking just give me a minute." He said back to her and as he did Robert started seeing his worst fear German troops so he quickly pulled his gun out and started firing on them BANG! BANG! BANG! once this happen everyone quickly dropped to the floor before The Doctor shouted to Robert "ITS NOT REAL ROBERT, YOU HAVE TO FIGHT IT!" But Robert didn't hear anything that he said as he was too overcome by his fear. Sally then started seeing her Dad again and she just shouted "DOCTOR, I SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT HIM, HE DIED ALL ALONE!" The Doctor quickly grabbed Sally and pulled her close and said "Sally, it's not real. I need you to really focus, focus on my voice block everything out." Sally quickly said back "I can't Doctor, it's too strong." "No it's not Sally come on you can do this, you're so much stronger that you think you are." The Doctor said back to her. She just looked at him dead in the eyes before she then just shut her eyes to try and block it all out but it wasn't working the Demons just tired harder to get her to give into her fear by bringing her Mum into it and she just said to him "Sally, your weren't there when I needed you, you left us. You left me and I couldn't do it, I couldn't watch him die on his own. You should have been there Sally to help be strong for him but left us and because of that he died alone and that's your fault Sally that he died alone." A tear ran down her face when she heard that and The Doctor just said as he whipped her tear away "Sally I know you scared right now and that okay being scared because in the end being scared make us strong and you are stronger. You're stronger than your fear so don't let it beat you not now, now never." And as she heard him say those words The Entity said back to him "I told you Doctor you wouldn't be able to save this world for being devoured." The Doctor then just shouted "STOP THIS, STOP THIS RIGHT NOW, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!" The Entity just laughed at The Doctor as he then started seeing himself regenerating again causing him to freeze and not be able to help Sally anymore but then all of a sudden something started to happen the whole place just started shaking and white crack started appearing all over the place and it quickly snapped The Doctor, Sally and Robert out of the trances they were in because of The Shadow Demons and Robert quickly said "what is happening?" The Doctor just started looking around the place and he just started smiling and when Sally saw his face and said in confusion "what's so funny?" He just looked back at her and said "run!" Sally having him a blank look and said "what!" "No time just run!" After that she then quickly turned around and started sprinting past The Shadow Demons who trying to grabbed her as they were tumbling all over the place.
