CASSADRA'S POV

"I'm leaving Sorsogon."

Nilingon ko si Claudine nang sabihin niya iyon, I frowned and lift both of my brows. She just smiled.

"I'm going back in New York." Dugtong niya habang nagluluto. She's cooking something I don't know but surely I will like.

"Uh-huh, babalik ka pa ba?" Natawa siya sa lintaniya ko.

"Ayaw mo na ba akong bumalik? Of course, I will! Hindi pwedeng wala ako sa kasal ninyo!" Natatawang aniya, ngumuso naman ako at napangiti.

Kalauna'y naupo si Claudine sa tabi ko bitbit pa ang sandok. Feel at home na siya sa bahay namin, mukha ngang medyo close na sila ni mommy dahil pinapayagan na siya nitong makapasok.

My days and weeks went just like that. Claudine's always with me as well as my friends. While, Trevon's always calling me. Minsan nga ay kailangan ko pang patayin ang phone ko dahil alam kong abala at pagod siya pero tinatawagan niya pa rin ako. I want him to rest.

"You're going na talaga?"

Claudine smirked and then nodded. Kung kailan kasi kilala at gusto ko na siyang maging matalik na kaibigan ay saka naman siya aalis. Maybe that's life, people come and go.

"I'll be back naman on your wedding day. I just need to go for someone." Nakangiti niyang sabi, kumunot ang noo ko.

"And who's that someone?" I asked. She chuckles while looking at me.

"You know that someone. You really, really do, and that someone will surely be on your wedding. But for now, I have to go and help her." Sagot ni Claudine na hindi ko rin naman ma-gets. Someone lang siya ng someone!

Claudine held my hands and squeeze it gradually.

"I know that this is too much to ask, but I hope you can visit that someone." Aniya na mas lalo ko pang kinakunot noo.

"Sino ba kasi 'yon, ha, Claudine?" Tanong ko pero ngumiti lang siya.

"That someone is always there for you, that's why I want you to be there with that someone, because of all people, she needs you."

Claudine's words made me ponder all the thoughts in my mind. She needs me? And who's she?

I don't know but the only thing I know now is, is it Aurelia? Jessi, since she's in New York? I don't get it.

Malakas ang hampas ng alon sa aking binti habang nakatayo ako sa harap ng dagat. The sun is already setting, a really nice view in this time.

Tahimik ako habang nakatitig sa papalubog nang araw nang bigla kong naramdaman ang pamilyar na mga brasong ngayon ay nakapulupot na sa akin.

"Stop torturing me..."

I smiled as he huskily utter those words. When did he came back? I didn't know! He didn't even tell me.

Humilig ako sa dibdib niya at saka marahang pumikit, ang kaniyang ulo naman ay dumako sa pagitan ng aking leeg at ulo upang humilig roon.

"How am I torturing you?" Tila ba naghuhuramentado ang aking puso habang hinihintay ang sagot niya. I miss him! So fuckin' much!
