"Alexius!"

This was about the fourth time that he'd called out for her, sounding to be closer to her location than before.

Despite the obvious worry laced in his tone, she went on to pretend as if she didn't hear him as she stared off at the vivid leaves and flowers in the planted trees with a tear stained face.

You could see that they were about to loose their colors and fall from their branches. Particularly when the autumn season and it's cool air fully announces itself.

"Baby..." His voice softened as he paced upon the patio, seeing his wife in her most vulnerable state. She was gorgeous yet sleep deprived. Beautiful, yet wearing stress like foundation.

She didn't dare look up at him. She'd rather watch the summer leaves strive and fall instead of discussing the obvious right now or ever.

"Alex...why you sitting out here alone like this?" He questioned, claiming a spot on the creme color couch, on the left side of her where her face was turned to.

"I said that I can do it and you made me believe it." She spoke in reminiscence as tears began to build up in the pocket of her eyes all over again.

"You made me believe it when the truth is that I can't," She shook her head, feeling tears invade her eyes again as she began to sense that familiar unbearable void of sadness.

Her start off brought an immediate frown to her husband's face, because even though she was not yet being exact about what she was referring to, Nathaniel already knew what she was talking about and what was to come next.

"I can't be a mom." She started to cry as numerous tears streamed down her face. Her statement causing a sense of sadness to present itself throughout the man's body.

This isn't the first time that she has cried like this about the exact thing, and Nathaniel always worked proactively to help her with the emotional distress that her hormones and remembrance of her past caused.

Her being a bad or good mom was her thoughts regardless, but her hormones enhanced the emotional response to them in the worst way.

Furthermore, Nathaniel just sat back and listened to her cries attentively. He felt that he'd ran out of words to say to her for her to believe that she's got this. Plus he feels that it's prominent for her to believe it without him having to remind her, because her assumptions would be true if she was mothering off of his opinions.

Meanwhile, Alexius started to feel contractions in her lower abdomen, causing her to immediately press her hand against her lower stomach, wincing in pain.

"What's wrong baby?" Nathaniel questioned, staring between her face and where her right hand was placed on her stomach as she began to cry in pain.

"Niel it hurts, It hurts really bad." Her curled lip only curved deeper as tears poured from her brown orbs.
