"Well Desti, what do you think?" Meggy asked.

"It's fantastic," Desti replied. "The water underground is rarely this clean."

"Figured you'd like it, because we're spending the whole day here."

"The whole day? But I don't even have a swimsuit."

"That's okay, you can borrow one of mine."

"Not unless of course you want to go skinny dipping," Sam added.

"Sam!"

"It was just a suggestion sis."

"That's okay," Desti said, "I'll just go swimming in my normal clothes."

"Suit yourself."

The trio unpacked the car and brought their beach supplies down to the beach. As they were setting up, a group of inklings with cyan tentacles walked up to them. Their leader appeared to be a female with one curly tentacle going down the front.

"Well well well," said the leader, "look at what we have here, the octopus lovers."

"Ugh," Meggy said. "What do you want Claire?"

"Nothing other than for you to get your garbage off of the beach," Claire replied.

"Why can't you just learn to accept octolings into our society?" Sam asked.

"Because, they're filthy sewer rats who should stay underground where they belong," Claire spat out, causing Desti to run off in tears. "Yeah, run home little octopus." Claire and her team laughed.

"What is wrong with you?" Meggy asked.

"Nothing is wrong with me octopus lover, my parents had me tested," Claire answered. "I'm just trying to make sure those octo-jerks know their place in this world."

"I can't wait to kick your ass in the next Splatfest," Meggy said.

"Ha, like you octopus lovers could stand a chance against Team Killer Ink! Bye bye losers!" Claire and her team walked away from Meggy and Sam.

"They won't get away with this."

"You'll get your chance sis," Sam reassured, "you will get your chance. I'm gonna go check on Desti."

"Kay."

Sam went off in the direction that Desti ran off in and came across the bathrooms. He went up to the ladies room door and heard sobbing coming from inside so he knocked on the door. "Desti? You in there?"

"Y-Yeah."

"Can you come out please?"

"I-I don't think I can."

"Desti please."

"Fine." Desti opened the door and walked out while trying to hide her arm as blood slowly trickled down it.

"Desti, show me your arm."

"No."

"Show me your arm."

"No!"

"Desti!"

"No!"

Sam grabbed Desti's arm and pulled the sleeve up, revealing multiple cuts. "Desti…"

Desti started to cry again. "I'm sorry."

Sam hugged her as she cried into his shoulder.
