The morning after, Emily sat atop the rv, she hadn't closed her eyes since the geeks attacked the camp, her mind racing with all the thoughts and possibilities.

What if she had ignored Morales and Lori? What if she had sat atop the rv that night, like she had planned to do in the first place? Even if she hadn't sat on top of the rv, she could've looked around more often for geeks. Why had she let her guard down so recklessly?

Amy could've been alive, Andrea's sister could've lived to see her birthday present. Poor Andrea, she was still hovering over her sister's lifeless body. She'd been there all night, she barely moved a muscle.

"Hey, why don't you come down here, help us out a little?" Lori asks, and without hesitation, Emily shakes her head at the brown-haired woman.

"No, I'm good up here. If there's any more geeks, I'll see 'em coming. No more sneaking up on us." Emily answers.

Her eyes are flickering around the camp, never fixated on one spot for too long. The dark circles around Emily's eyes from not sleeping stand out on her pale skin.

Lori doesn't ask her anything else, she doesn't say a word. She simply walks away, knowing she won't be able to change Emily's mind.

Most of the group are going around camp, helping to burn the geeks we had to put down yesterday.

Andrea finally moves a little when Rick approaches Andrea, only for her to point her gun at the sheriff. That catches Emily's attention, looking at the two as Rick holds his hands up.

"I know how the safety works." Andrea says, her voice emotionless as she looks him right in the eyes.

Emily could barely understand how the blonde felt, but she had an idea. If that was her brother, she wouldn't leave him either. In fact, in comparison to her brother, everyone in camp is basically a stranger to her. So if they'd try to take him away from her, she would do the same thing Andrea is doing right now.

Her eyes don't linger on the two for long, her eyes scanning the camp for danger again. Emily had put the blame on herself, she was feeling guilty. Why had she not refused their offer to sit around the campfire? Why did she not say no to them?

After backing up from Andrea with his hands up in surrender, he walks up to the rv, climbing up the ladder to look Emily in the eyes.

"Emily, we could really use your help down there." He says, making her look up at him for a second.

"Lori said the same thing. I'm good up here." Emily replies, she leans her elbows on her knees, redirecting her gaze to where Glenn is dragging a body towards the fire.

"Everybody is on guard after what happened. Everybody has a weapon." Rick says, trying to convince Emily.

"None of this should've happened Rick. I was supposed to be on watch. I was supposed to take my food up to the rv, I should've-"
