Althea rest Pixie across her lap as she make some new clothes for her. She was growing really fast but Yeilk said it's normal. In no time her baby will be up and about. It's a mother's worst nightmare to see their baby growing out of their eyesights.

"He's not back yet?"Rubes asked.

"No. He need some time with Ruel. Let him take all the time he need."

Even if it takes weeks she's OK with it. Ruel need someone and who better than his big brother.

"Want to go to the lake?"

"OK." She set the basket aside with the clothes and stand with Pixie.

They head off to the forest. The sun was high in sky making it the perfect time to go swimming.

"Chief can we come with you? Please!"

"Of course you can come." The kid cheer and skip along beside her.

"You're really good with kids."

"I use to look after other people kids for a living. I see it as experience for this very moment."

She look down at Pixie with a loving smile. Pixie was her everything.

They got to the lake and the kids jump in. Althea sit on the bank with her feet in the water while Rubes get into the water with the kids.

Soon a whole lot of other people came making it a family gathering. Eveyone need to cool down. After everything that they've been through it's well deserved. They have survived alot.

"Chief. Chief Yeilk has returned and is asking for you."

"Is everything ok?"

"Yes. I think he's just worried."

"Thanks Hans. Tell him I'm by the lake."

"Chief."

"Your daddy is a silly man,"she said to a smiling Pixie. "I hope you find a man as good as him. Or I'll unalive him for you. Quick and no one will no."

"I'm scared to asked what else you're saying to our daughter."

"Yeilk! Pretend you didn't hear that. Don't listen in on women's conversation."

Yeilk place a kiss on her head before taking Pixie.

"I agree with your mom. Your mom got lucky."

"Hey!"

"Sorry love but you did." Althea roll her eyes. "It's call right place at the right time."

"You like testing your luck don't you?"

"Yes." Althea couldn't do anything but sigh. Even in this world the men are a headache. It's not like she can break the bond.

Yeilk sit cross legged beside Althea with Pixie on the soft grass.

"Where is Ruel?"

"He left. He want to find himself again. After years of being controlled I understand and let him leave."

"You're a great brother even if you're a brooding brute most of the time."

Yeilk give her a playful glare.

"I'm not."

"Oh really?" Althea start telling about all the times he act like a spoilt child. Yeilk face turn red in embarrassment and he cover her mouth to shut her up. Althea look at him proud.

"You've made your point love. You won this time."

"I always won."
