As I sat on one of the bed's reading to myself, I could hear luffy's voice in the distance. I, of course probably didn't hear cause I was too busy watching the metal form into a cube, which I made! awesome right?

Day by day I'm learning how to actually control my abilities, but here's the thing— if I ever used it for too long my body would start feeling overwhelmed and my ears would bleed too.

hopping out of bed I rushed out to tell Luffy and the others about what I had just done, "Guys. Guys. Guys. okay, crew meeting." Luffy says as he gently pushes me next to nami.

"Not a crew!"

"Not a crew."

"...definitely not."

Luffy ignores our comments and begins speaking. "We're gonna need a better ship to make it to the grand line. a real pirate ship. worthy of the straw hat crew."

I furrow my eyebrows. "Wait, straw hat crew? really? what about– I dunno—" you paused and it was an awkward silence, "yeah I don't know. I really don't."

"Yeah, I thought it had a nice ring to it." Luffy grins while nodding, I stood there with a raised eyebrow.

"’Demon’ has a nice ring to it. headgear? not scary." Zoro adds, I nodded in agreement while crossing my arms.

"Who says pirates have to be scary?" Luffy inquires, this makes me tilt my head while raising an eyebrow while scratching the sife of my head.

Eh, he was onto something.

"The point is we need a new ship. so where do we get one?" Luffy questions, I hum while thinking to myself.

"Our closest bet is the gecko islands. we could probably make it there before our ship sinks. ditch this one and get a better one." Nami explains.

"Great job, navigator." Luffy tells her, I raise an eyebrow while staring off into the sea again, the ocean was so pretty.

I sighed as I looked around, wearing a yellow bandana. It was hot out here which made me slightly irritated but not sweaty, Nami appears and I felt relief run through me.

"Hey, you got anything yet?" I asked her while leaning against the wall, checking the time on my watch.

"Working on it. did you push the sloop out to sea like I told you?" Nami asks.

I gestured in answer, "yeah. no marines will be following us here, made sure of it."

Zoro and Nami shared a look, before Nami turns around to me. "Well, we're not gonna be here very long. turns out syrup village is known for their ship building. lots of options."

"Well, what are we waiting for then?" Luffy questions before walking off, I furrowed my eyebrows and quickly followed after him.
