Regular POV

Naruto and Sasuke wait outside of the academy for Sakura to get there while the rest of the students wait in front of the door. Sasuke eyes Naruto out of the corner of his eye so he doesn't catch him staring.

"Oi Naruto"

"Ah?"

"How was it for you last night?"

Naruto gives Sasuke a confused look indicating he's not following.

"You know, the nightmares?"

Naruto makes an 'Ohh' facial expression.

"So did they come back or what?"

Naruto starts to scratch his cheek a little embarrassed.

"U-Uh well..."

Sasuke turns his whole body towards Naruto staring at him very intensely basically warning Naruto to tell the truth. Naruto starts waving his hands back in forth surrendering to his gaze.

"Don't worry, they're gone I swear!"

Naruto finally sees Sakura and starts waving at her.

"Oh look there's Sakura!"

Sasuke just scoffs rolling his eyes and crosses his arms looking over to Sakura.

"Sakura! Hey you're late!"

Naruto says waving at her and she waves back seeming very unsure of herself.

"Uh, Right. Sorry guys... Good morning Sasuke!"

Sasuke puts his hands in his pockets and just glances at her.

"Yeah."

He squints his eyes a little when he starts to see her doubting her self knowing she's acting different. They finally head inside the academy when they see a few students gathered around a doorway with two Ninja guarding it. Some students try to get through but they just hit 'em down every time.

Team 7 walk up to the crowd listening in on the lecture both the Ninjas are giving the students. Talking about how the chunin exams is life and death and that they're not ready. Sasuke just rolls his eyes when Naruto starts getting fired up. He can't wait for the challenge. Sakura on the other hand is still a little nervous for herself but she's determined no matter what.

Sasuke starts getting tired of the fear this random Ninja is trying to inflict on everyone and decides stop the entire thing. Naruto and Sakura follow behind.

"Real nice speech, Now both of you step aside and let me through... And while you're at it reverse the genjutsu. We can see through your illusion anyway. We're going to the third floor."

All the students around Team 7 start bickering to eachother about how Sasuke must be dumb because they think that they're really on the third floor. The ninja smirk and chuckle at Sasuke's observation skills.

"Well well, so you noticed the genjutsu huh?"

Sasuke also being observant of Sakura before when she seemed nervous and unsure of herself, decides to let her find her confidence again. Since he knows how smart she can be he noticed right away that she already had caught on to the trick.

"Go ahead. Tell 'em Sakura! I'm sure you saw it before anyone else did."

Sakura looks over to Sasuke confused on what he's talking about.

"You have the sharpest eyes and analytical skills on our squad. You must have seen this coming a mile away."

Sasuke turns and gives her a small closed eyed smile when Naruto notices. Naruto chuckles to himself seeing this sweet side of Sasuke. He decides he'll talk to him about it later.
