Regular POV

Sasuke side eyes the both of them not really wanting them to talk in private.

"What do you guys have to talk about that you can't say in front of me?"

Sakura tries to seem very confident by crossing her arms before lying through her teeth.

"It's personal Sasuke! It's not something meant for your ears Okay!!"

Sasuke puts his hands up in defense giving up on the matter. Regardless he still glances at Naruto making him feel very uneasy. Naruto nervously laughs and scratches the back of his head.

"Ah haha so uh... Sakura when do you wanna have this talk?"

Sakura leans over grabbing a fish to start eating.

"In a minute or so. Right now we still need to figure out what we're gonna do, because let's be honest, there may not be anymore heaven scrolls left."

Both Naruto and Sasuke also grab their fish to start eating as well. Sasuke sucks his teeth at Sakura's negativity.

"Well that's a cheerful thought..."

"Maybe so but it's true! Look you said it yourself Sasuke, this is the fourth day we've been out here. That means we've already used up 80% of the time we've got to complete the exam! And if those odds weren't bad enough, things have gotten even worse! Let's not forget about that creep Orochimaru burned the heaven scroll we had..."

Sasuke rolls his eyes.

"Yeah I remember. Maybe we gave ourselves too much time to rest and recover from our last fight. I don't know... but what I do know is that we've got to get serious now. Make up for lost time."

Naruto just nods his head chowing down on his fish like no tomorrow. If he wasn't so hungry then he would've already engaged in the conversation by now.

"The next enemy we face could be our last chance."

Sakura starts looking at Naruto again remembering to herself that she really needs to talk to him. Sasuke watches her staring and decides to just let them have their privacy. He gets up grabbing the bamboo cup.

"You guys can have your little talk now, i'm gonna go get some water anyways."

Sasuke turns around slightly annoyed but regardless he respects it. Naruto just gulps the last of his fish down very nervous for what Sakura wants to talk about. She watches Sasuke walk away to make sure he's far enough to not be listening. Then she turns to look at Naruto very determined.

"Look Naruto, we need to talk about Sasuke."

Naruto drops the fish bone in his lap being completely flabbergasted. The last thing he expected was for Sakura to start talking about Sasuke.

"B-But you said it was something personal....?"

She sighs at Naruto's nervousness.

"It IS personal. It's about my feelings when it comes to him. So Sasuke can't know anything about what we're talking about here."

Naruto squints his eyes at Sakura thinking about how her actions don't match up with her intentions.

"Well then if that's the case then why did you make it known in front of him that we need to have a private talk? Isn't that just going to make him all the more curious of what were talking about? Shit I know I would be."
