Regular POV
Kakashi pops back up out of nowhere in front of Naruto and Sakura after shino finishes and wins his match. Naruto's eyes light up like fireworks happy Kakashi finally came back after taking Sasuke.
"Kakashi Sensei!"
"Hi!"
He gives them both a soft smile before walking in between them up to the railing. Sakura furrows her eyebrows wanting answers.
"What do you mean 'Hi'?! Is that all you can say? What about Sasuke?! How is he?!"
"Yeah, why isn't he with you sensei?!"
Naruto walks closer to Kakashi death glaring at him.
"You said that everything was gonna be okay did something happen?!"
Kakashi throws his hands up in defense stepping back a little sweat dropping.
"Woah now, relax you guys, what's with the hostility?! Just because he's not with me doesn't mean something happened. Everything is fine I promise. He's sleeping soundly in the infirmary after you know what."
Sakura lets out a breath and Naruto also relaxes his tense muscles. Sakura proceeds to look back towards the battle grounds and Naruto furrows his eyebrows in confusion.
"Wait a minute,"
He grabs Kakashi's sleeve pulling him down to talk in his ear.
"After that creep that's been after him, you shouldn't have left him alone completely defenseless!"
Kakashi grabs Naruto's hand and releases it from his sleeve.
"Come on, I know what I'm doing Naruto. I have the Anbu watching over him on guard."
Naruto sighs to himself in relief and places his arms on the railing.
Kakashi chuckles at Naruto's uncanny ability to put himself into panic mode when it comes to Sasuke. He pats his back leaning down to him.
"Don't worry, your little boyfriend has the ultimate protection right now-"
Naruto's mushes Kakashi's face in embarrassment blushing his ass off.
"Stupid old man!! I keep telling you to stop saying that!!"
Kakashi rubs his head feeling disappointed with Naruto calling him old.
"And why don't you stop calling me that? I'm only 26 Naruto sheesh..."
Sakura starts glaring at them for being so loud and causing a scene.
"Can you guys quit it?! The next match is about to begin, they're gonna pull the names now."
Naruto scoffs rolling his eyes looking back down to the battle grounds and Kakashi just chuckles again. He absolutely loves teasing Naruto about Sasuke.

Naruto's POV
*After Naruto wins and finishes his match with Kiba*
I run back up the stairs and put my hands behind my head smiling very proud with myself as they carry Kiba away on a stretcher.
"Ha! Piece of cake, it was nothing!"
"N-Naruto..."
I look back making a 'hmm?" sound seeing Hinata hold out a cup for me.
"What's this?"
