Sin and Nai are broken up due to inreconcilable differences. Nai wants to get married with no kids, while Sin does not want to get married, but wants children.
The two split, and after a year, they run into each other again. Sin's dad is having a Christmas party where a fight between Nadia's, Sin's then pregnant girlfriend, sister and Nai.
After Nai goes back home and is settled in, her dad has a health emergency, making her rush back to LA. Going to see her dad in the hospital, she runs into Sin who was supposed to be having his first child, but the child is not his.
Sin asks for another chance and is shut down again.
However, the next day or so, Nai is emotional and is obviously not in the right headspace. She calls up Sin where they have a "moment".
