After what happened, Knuckles got to the mountain with the sleep walking berries, he sat down on the hammock as he groaned loudly.
Knuckles asked, "Am I really falling in love with her?"
That's when one of Knuckles conflicts 'Angel' said on his left shoulder, "Of course you are. She maybe Sonic but she is as beautiful as a flower. Love is really beautiful when it blooms like a flower."
Then all of a sudden the devil side appear on his right shoulder and said, "Don't listen to this goody two-shoes. Lest you forget! SHE IS SONIC! I say. that phony!"
Knuckles thought about it before the Angel side said as he slapped him, "NO!" He then said, "Don't make that mistake. Shayera probably wanted to be a woman on her own accord. She'll never forgive you if you do something stupid again."
Knuckles muttered, "It is true." The devil side then said as he pointed at the Angel with his pitchfork, "Ehh what do you care? She's probably tricking him!"
The Angel protested, "You don't know that." The devil replied, "She is probably having a hand with the missing hedgehogs! Denise! Silver! Felix! Jean! Amy's two sisters! Rika's two brothers! Sonic himself! This is no coincidence!"
Knuckles nodded in agreement. The devil then said, "Look, you can expose the truth. Possibly get your best friend back."
The Angel then said, "No! He's a she. You can gain her forgiveness if you try to be there for her and support her. If you don't you'll regret it. You love that girl. She's your mysterious beauty."
Knuckles muttered, "That is true."
Thats when the devil said, "Stop listening to that goody-two shoes. I say expose her! How long are you going to keep distracting yourself by that fowl temptress! Stop getting mixed up with that best friend of yours and expose her!"
The Angel then said as he sighed, "Its your choice boy. You can expose and get your best friend back or you can win the heart of the girl she is now."
Knuckles groaned and asked himself as his devil and Angel disappeared at the same time, "Ugh! Why me?!"
He had to choose to get his best friend back or let Sonic live her life as a woman.
He needs to expose her but he also wants her.
One decision he will regret making cause things get real bad. But it will reveal a plot twist of the time.
