" 'Good girl?' " Aizetsu lamented, clasping a hand over his face as he stared into the air with wide eyes of regret and embarrassment. " 'Good girl'...What is she, a dog? How could I have said that?! "
With a regretful whimper, he turned and pressed his forehead against the wall, loosening his grip around the duster in his hand and it fell to the floor. The classroom was quite empty now, leaving only a few students left behind to clean the room according to the schedule. Karaku usually would've skipped his turn but Shinazugawa-sensei was roaming around in the hallway and Himejima-sensei was directly under the window of their classroom talking with Tomioka-sensei. Since he didn't have any route to escape he begrudgingly stayed behind while Sekido and Urogi went ahead to fetch Zohakuten and walked back home first.
Karaku, who had been sweeping the floor nearby went ahead and retrieved the duster off the floor, tapping it on his brother's shoulder.
" At ease, man! The fair maiden has not utter any objection for the pet name! " His green eyes glinting in amusement at the squinting his twin threw at him.
Lips puckering out a little, Aizetsu sighed and took the duster back, resuming in his cleaning. " It's still weird. I don't know what came over me to even say that to her. "
" Eh, nothing weird in it actually. " Karaku shrugged nonchalantly, whistling as he goes to swipe the corner of the back. A group of girls were walking passed their class and Karaku saw the chance to click his tongue and winked at them -- earning some giggles and playful eyes rolling.
Aizetsu quirked up an eyebrow, having grown accustomed to his brother being quite a womanizer, but the question rolled out of his tongue before he could registered it first. " Why do you always fool around with different girls? "
Karaku mock gasped. " Oh no, I had enough of Sekido chiding me, not you too! What have become of my quiet brother, to even question his so nice and kind brother? " He faked an offended look, placing a hand over his chest dramatically before giving a chuckle at the way Aizetsu pressed his lips thin in slight annoyance.
" You need some dating advice? " He wiggled his eyebrows, his mind already thinking of a certain someone as Aizetsu flinched in surprise and blushing a little at the question.
" I am -- I am not going to ask (Y/n) out -- "
" I didn't even mentioned her. "
He bit back a laugh, clasping a hand over his grinning mouth while watching Aizetsu turned redder. His expression could be read as being very upset, but he knew how to read his twin; he was just flustered. Which was quite rare. Sure that sometimes girls would flock around Aizetsu, but he never seemed shy to talk to them and reject them when needed. Quiet, yes, but shy? Nah, it was just his dejected expression that threw people off sometimes.
