I was in my bed, fast asleep when I heard a loud buzzing noise. "WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" Marnie yelled. I covered my ears, "let's go!" She pulled me out of bed. She then went to the table and started to devour these yellow things. "Do you want your eggs? If not, I'll eat them." She then began to eat my eggs. She grabbed her bag and dashed out the door, "wait for me!" I hollered, she hadn't stopped. I tried my best to chase after her but she was so fast! We then arrived at the big building again, "c'mon! We don't want to be tardy!" said Marnie, running through the halls. I had no idea where I was going, so I just followed Marnie. She entered this random classroom, there were no seats for me. "Who are you?" a thin lady with a brown messy bun said to me, "me? I'm uh, Star! Yeah, Star!" I said. The lady then whipped out a long piece of paper, "I don't see your name on the attendance sheet." she barked. She had a heavy accent. "I'm new! I just transferred from, uh.. California!" I exclaimed, I remembered that's where Haley told me she was from. "Hm.. What part of California to be exact?" the lady asked. I couldn't remember where in California Haley had lived! It started with an M. "I don't feel comfortable answering that question." I muttered. She handed me a chair, "go sit at that desk." she growled. I pulled my chair over to a large wooden desk. "This is your homeroom class, do whatever you want, I really don't care. Just- don't question the random cat statue." I looked to my left to see a large cat statue holding pencil and paper. I pretty much followed Marnie around all day, saying I was a student who came from California. Nothing had slipped my mind until I was walking through the hallway and I noticed this girl, she had platinum blonde hair and the brightest blue eyes I'd ever seen. She reminded me of Haley. "Ugh, not Stella!" Marnie groaned. My body began to feel all tingly, my stomach was twisting. "Who's that?" I asked, pointing at the girl. "That's Stella Manson. Trust me, she's the biggest gossip EVER!" said Marnie. Marnie shook me out of my trance, "don't tell me, oh my god." I was so confused, I hadn't ever felt this way before. Us supernatural beings aren't supposed to feel this way, was I sick? Or was it something else. Stella was coming this way, brushing past Marnie. She stopped dead in her tracks. "You're that new exchange student, right? Star was it," said Stella, I nodded. "Cute." She then walked away. I was in awe. "Don't ever, and I mean NEVER, associate with Stella. Trust me" Marnie said, grabbing both my shoulders. It was time for lunch. I was sitting at a vacant table while Marnie was socializing with her friends. I wanted to go over to their table, but I didn't know if they wanted me there. I was going into the lunch line to get my food, Stella and her friends were right in front of me, I might have sort of eavesdropped on their conversation, "I know right? I honestly had cross country, I mean, at first it was fun, but now I just wished I did cheer. Like you guys." said Stella. I knew that there was an open spot in cross country. I saw it when I was going to the cafeteria. I knew what I had to do now, sign up for cross country!
