For those who've read the original part one before I deleted, I'm sorry! I just didn't feel confident that the original was good enough 😭😭. After more editing to the original plot, I created something new and I hope y'all like it ;)

"Zyla, do you understand what finding the Avatar means for me? I get to restore my honor which means we can go home," Zuko stated as he stepped towards his sister. Zyla stood in the same spot as he got closer to her, Zyla's firm gaze not leaving Zuko's usually angry face. "Why would you want to go back to a place that hurt the both of us? We both have the scars to prove it!" Zyla protested, also getting closer to Zuko.

The tension was as cold as the chilled arctic air. The ship that they have been traveling on sailed around the South Pole for nearly three months to search for the believed to be deceased Avatar. About a year into their travels, Zyla had a theory that the sole purpose for their mission was so that they could never return home again- which Zuko obviously didn't like.

Zuko stood silent for a while, the cogs in his brain began to turn, trying to figure out what to say. Zyla stood a couple feet away, arms crossed and her brow raised. Finally, he spoke up. "It was ignorant of me to speak out in that meeting! I had it coming." Zuko grumbled looking away with regret. Zyla frowned at his response, clearly upset that he thinks the incident was his fault. "What would you do? Do you think dueling a thirteen year old child for having an opinion is justifiable?" No response from Zuko, only the sounds of heavy rain drops pattering against the steal deck of the ship. "Zuko, please tell me you wouldn't duel your own child if they spoke out in a meeting..."

Zuko scowled at her, "How dare you ask such questions!" he growled. "So you know how wrong it is! This is why I refuse to help you find the avatar!" Zyla exclaimed, poking her finger in his chest. Zuko grabs her finger, his grip tightening around it. Although it started to hurt, Zyla refuses to flinch. Instead, she keeps her hardened gaze fixated on her brother.

"You know, gripping my finger isn't gonna do anything," Zyla sneers, breaking their short lived silence. "But an Agni Kai will," Zuko challenged in response. Zyla rolls her eyes in annoyance, yanking her hand back before getting into a fighting stance. Okay little Ozai, let's see what you got, she thought while she observes Zuko  getting into a fighting stance as well.

"Children it is time to go inside the waves are getting too choppy-hey what's going on!" Uncle Iroh yelped in surprise as he found the two about to brawl. He rushed over to the two, putting both arms in between them.

"Please tell me you two aren't fighting again?" The poor man- as well as the crew... they have to deal with two teenagers squabbling nearly every day. Their bickering consisted of Zyla attempting to correct Zuko's sour attitude like a mother scolding her child. Today, their fight was about the existence of the Avatar. It was the usual "well, father sent us on a 'mission' to find a dead Avatar so he won't have to deal with us again'' kind of argument.

"This is none of your concern, uncle," Zuko spat, releasing himself from the situation. "Excuse you, don't talk to our uncle like that, respect your elders!" Zyla angrily scolds as she releases herself as well. She marches over towards Zuko who has his back turned, and shoved him to the deck. Within seconds he swivels his legs around sending fire out of them. Zyla backs up, cracking her knuckles. "Children! The storm is becoming stronger, it would be best to postpone your cat fight to tomorrow!" Uncle Iroh yelled over the loud gusts of wind, but it was no use due to the two not stopping.

Zyla sent a fire blast, knocking him back, but not off of his feet like she had hoped to. Zyla was an advanced hand-to-hand combatant but with three years of firebending training, she was nowhere near as powerful as Zuko is. Zuko hurls a volley of fireballs in her direction, knocking her on her back. Zyla quickly swept his ankles with a fire sweep, causing him to land flat on his butt. He growled before pouncing on her, his punches became sloppy due to how angry he was. He missed his target entirely, hitting the deck instead. As a result his knuckles started to bleed.
