"Папа, com on pleaz!" Said the little girl as she grabbed his father's hand, his fingers were rough but she knew that they were full of love for his children, or at least for two...
"Не сейчас, дорогая" he said, his daughter seemed disappointed and let go of his hand, it had been like this everyday, not a single week, minute or second had gone by since she'd been rejected by her own father, siblings and now dead mother.
She knew it had been hard for her father, for everyone really, she'd cry at night for her touch, her brother had become dull, the boy that used to play with her and Belarus was now gone and turned into a monster..
One day, she had a dream...she had everything she wanted, a mother, loving father and her siblings weren't fighting anymore, she wasn't sick anymore and she could feel the cool breeze of the Christmas air pushing against her face..it was all she'd ever wanted...

But sometimes, dreams are what keep us hopeful..when deep down we know that they're just things that we can never reach, for how long or hard we try they're like stars, far away into an unknown galaxy full of mysterious things that no one has discovered yet..and that's how she felt, alone in a galaxy full of people, but she was the star that was slowly dying..

It was her birthday, she was turning sixteen, four years after her father had died, she put out the multiple colorful candles, as the wax went down onto the cake, she looked up and saw no one but herself, in her apartment, alone, she felt cold, helpless and stupid..
This was a nightmare, her life was a nightmare and she couldn't fo anything about that, she knew that she was slowly killing herself, slowly but painfully, all those medicines were just to keep her breathing for a while, and she wanted to keep breathing, for her brothers, her sister and most importantly her father..
Her brother now had kids of his own, her sister was the owner of a large campaign, her other brother:Kaza was far away in another part of the big city, and here she was working at a part time cafe shope struggling to keep herself stable, she let a single tear fall onto the small cake, she took a bite, and then another to fill her empty heart and stomach.
She looked up and saw a photo of her, her siblings and their father all together, she smiled weakly at it for a long time, she could almost feel the same way she felt when that photo was taken, she felt happy..
Before her father had died, he'd made all her siblings promise him something, that they'd never join him too early, when he said that he especially looked at her and her brother.
She coughed a bit, a burning pain in her throat. She rushed to the bathroom and coughed into the toilet, red, sparking blood mixed with the water as she stared in horror..
She always knew this day was coming, the day when she would die..she started to cry, this couldn't be the end!
A knock on the door was heard, she flushed the toilet and wiped her mouth and face, she felt herself weaken as she approached the door. When she opened it there stood all her siblings in one pack, she was surprised and confused...what were they doing here?
"Ukrrain!" Exclaimed her sister, the Ukrainian was startled with the sudden yelling but smiled either way, "Привіт bela.." she said, Kazakhstan looked around the dark apartment, even with her current status she'd keep her things clean and organized.
They stayed for a while, they each gave her a gift of their own, and was mildly disappointed for what they'd given her, she was grateful that they thought of her, but each present was something they thought of for themselves... not for her..never for her...
