Ravka is inspired by Tsarist Russia. Ravka is bordered by Fjerda, Shu Han, and the True Sea. The location of the Little Palace, the residence of Ravka's Second Army, which is a army of a lot of Grisha, and where they train Grisha. Also was formerly home to a orphanage called Keramzin that the Sun Summoner once stayed in. The Grand Palace is also here which is the home of the Ravkan royals. The Ravkan colors are blue and gold. The Suli people also live here. The Shadow Fold, or the Unsea runs from Ravka's northern border to its southern one. A mountain range known as the Petrazoi runs through the nation, the northwest of Petrazoi is called Tsibeya and its just a lot of wilderness. Ravka is bordered on the south and east by a massive mountain range known as Sikurzoi. In the mountains there is a valley known as Dva Stolba. A river known as Sokol River helps with commerce, it feeds into the Alkhem Bay at the trading port Os Kervo. It later branches into the Obol River. Ravka's climate us cold and it usually snows in winter. It's summers are warm and there is a thick layer of permafrost on its northern border.

Kerch is inspired by the Dutch Republic. Kerch is a small island nation located in the True Sea. It is a putative oligarchy ruled by the Merchant Council. It has remained neutral through most of the conflicts and disputes involving the other countries. Known for its wealth and business. It is looked at as the financial capitol of the world. Eight years ago, the Queen Lady's Plague struck Kerch, especially in its capitol city Ketterdam. During this time many died and were dumped in the harbor. The country had many lockdowns to save the city. Kerch is home to a criminal underground. Although slavery is illegal in Kerch, many Grisha are bought into slavery and indentured by the wealthy. Kerch is an island later that consists of one big island, three small islands, and many other islands. Kerch is mostly rainy. The South is comprised of mostly farmland while the north is more susceptible to mists or downpours. Waterways connect rural locations to the south of Ketterdam. The city of Belendt is located on the shores of Droombeld River. The tiny island off the coast of the mainland, Vellgeluk is a meeting place for smugglers and criminals. A island also off the coast of the mainland, Imperjum is home to the city's shipyards. There are several small islands around Imperjum, including Terrenjel, where the prison Hellgate is located. The Kerch color is purple.
