a group of grisha are all from different nations, they have ran from their nations to get away from the harsh treatment they faced. they end up being caught by the nations governments and have to work together to evade their captors.

PERSONALITY ]━━ Ulrika has always been a sort of outcast in Fjerda. She has always spoken her mind and been flirty even when Fjerdan women aren't supposed to. She has always had bigger dreams than being a housewife. She will argue with people about things if they disagree with her. She is quite vocal in all situations, which is probably not a good thing while you're on the run. As a result of this "out of the ordinary" behavior from Ulrika, she has always been left out of things, which has led to some issues. She doesn't really know how to talk to people and hold a mature conversation because no one ever taught her how to. She is extremely outgoing, a little too outgoing, which is a severe contrast to some of the other members. As the youngest of the group, she is often babied, but she can get very serious when she needs to. She will become quite the leader in serious scenarios. Ulrika is always telling jokes, even in the worst scenarios. She might seem like she's all rainbows and sunshines, but she really is dealing with a lot on the inside, from the losing her family and nation to the having to rework the wiring of her brain to deal with the fact that she is grisha and her family has been hating and hunting grisha for years. She doesn't let anyone see that side of her, though, unless they are really close to her. She is treated as a younger sibling by a lot of the group. She actually likes it. It makes her feel special when she never felt special back in Fjerda.
BACKSTORY ]━━ [warning- abuse] Ulrika was born in Djerholm. Her family was a very stereotypical Fjerdan family. The men in her family had been in Druskelle for as far back as her great-great-great-great-great grandfather. Her mother was a very passive stay-at-home mother who never talked back or spoke up. Her brother was always so rude to the women in their family. Even when her father told him to stop, he still continued to be mean. Her little brother was one of the only nice ones in the family. He was the only one who hung out with or even talked to Ulrika on a regular basis. As soon as Ulrika was able to walk and talk, she was immediately pushed into the role of "Mother 2.0". She had to take care of the animals and wash dishes while her mother washed the clothes and farmed. She was told never to speak her opinion and to never fight under any circumstances. She always thought that was unfair, but she still followed the rules. Until she was around ten, she followed the rules and never spoke up and never fought. Then, when she turned ten, she began to speak her opinions about things and would get into fights to protect people around the village. Her family started to notice this and started to take precautions so she wouldn't continue doing this. They would make her stay home so she wouldn't get into fights, but that didn't stop her from speaking out against all this stuff. It got so bad that the family, excluding her little brother, started to beat her when she spoke out against all the gender roles. Even her mother would. Her little brother would sneak into her room so she would have company. The abuse got worse as she grew older. What made things worse was, at twelve, she discovered her grisha powers. She had discovered them by accidently slamming a door with air. She kept the powers a secret as best as she could while still suffering through the abuse by her parents and older brother. She was not allowed to see her friends anymore because she had been locked in the house. She would train with her powers in her room. She only ever talked to her little brother and only to the others when they were mad at her over some little thing. When Ulrika was thirteen and her brother was twenty-one, her brother joined the Druskelle. So now two of her family members were Druskelle, and she was the thing they were trained to kill, grisha. She lived through the abuse for another two years before one day, when she was fifteen, while her whole family was gone. She packed a bag and then climbed out her window and ran off into the cold, snowy forest. She survived off of animals and river water for a few months. She used her powers to fight off animals and people. She was able to scavenge enough money for a boat ride to Novyi Zem and has been living there, scavenging for money and renting motel rooms for a year.
