Ozzie sat on the ground of the greenhouse hands still in Mountain's as the earth ghoul grew flowers along the multi ghoul's arms. An empty flower bed caught Ozzie's eye as he let go of Mountain's hands and walked over to it. "Can I grow things since this one is empty?" Ozzie asked Mountain. Mountain nodded and smiled. Ozzie placed his hands in the soil and closed his eyes, feeling the earth around his hands glowing a light green not as vibrant as a Mountain's but it was pretty. Flowers sprouting from the soil. Ozzie was amazed and he smiled. "I did it," he said, his voice filled with pride. Mountain nodded and opened his arms as Ozzie ran at him giving him a hug with a lopsided smile on his face.

"You sure did Bug and they're beautiful." Mountain laughed and hugged Ozzie back. Ozzie felt the warmth of Mountain's embrace and he felt like he was home. Ozzie felt a surge of joy wash over him. He knew that Mountain would always be there for him for some reason just having met the ghoul this morning. Ozzie pulled back and looked into Mountain's eyes. Nose-to-nose lips barely grazing the other's lips. The silence was comfortable but the air was tense. One glance and Earth ghoul grabbed Ozzie by his cheeks and brought their lips together. Mountain pulled away from Ozzie's lips and stood away from him. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that." Mountain apologized looking anywhere but Ozzie. The multi-ghoul's now happy facade was replaced with one of confusion and sadness. The taller of the two turned and walked out of the greenhouse. "Wait Mountain!" The younger ghoul called out to him but it was too late he was gone.

In anger of being alone once more tears flowed freely as the multi ghoul ripped the flowers Mountain had placed him along his horns. Petals littered the dirt in the greenhouse and around where Ozzie was in front of the flower bed that was now Ozzie's, as the ghoul let out whimpers and his tail now curled around them as they held onto the bouquet of flowers. Alone, hurting, confused it was all felt before and it was scary.

The sun was setting and Ozzie must have been in the greenhouse for hours. The ghoul lays on the dirt-covered floor sleeping with tear-stained cheeks. The sound of footsteps didn't cause the ghoul to stir. "Asmodeus?" Lavender eyes scanned the greenhouse now landing on the hiccuping ghoul. "Sodo I found him." The quintessence ghoul walked forward and kneeled next to the multi ghoul brushing curls from his face. "What happened to the little bat?" Ozzie leaned into the touch of Phantom in his sleep. "Mountain." The name of the earth ghoul whimpered out into the air.

"We have questions to ask Mountain Phantom. Let's pick him up and take him to your room." Sodo spoke, picking up Ozzie's book that lay on the potted plant untouched. Phantom scooped up the sleeping ghoul, his face falling into Phantom's chest. The walk from the garden to Phantom's room was quiet. The glances Sodo was throwing at Phantom were weird. "Why do you keep looking at me like that?" Phantom snapped as Sodo opened the door to the quintessence ghoul room. "Did you talk to Mountain about the fact you both share a mate?" Sodo asked as Phantom placed the sleeping ghoul on his bed. "Yes, I did we talked end of the discussion," Phantom answered and pulled out a phone texting Mountain to come to his room.

"Mountain? Eros? Amber?" The ghoul had sat up rubbing their eyes and whimpering. "No little bat, I'm Phantom. Mountain is on his way." The lavender eyes scared the multi-ghoul. "Please don't hurt me." Ozzie pushed himself into the wall and curled himself into a ball. "Why would I hurt you little bat? Didn't Amber explain to you about mates?" Phantom sat on the edge of the bed and hands were placed on the mattress in front of him to show Ozzie he meant no harm.

"She said she would tell us when we got older or summoned. Why are you asking me this?" Ozzie peeked at the quintessence ghoul. "Because you're my mate bub." This causes Ozzie to sit up and look at Phantom and then at Sodo. "What happened in the greenhouse sapling?" Sodo asked, stepping closer.

"Mountain and I were talking and I wanted to grow flowers...I hadn't tried that before I did it and we hugged then Mountain kissed me and left me by myself alone. I didn't know how to get back to my room so I stayed hoping Eros or Amber would come and get me." While speaking Ozzie inched closer to Phantom sitting a few inches away from the older ghoul. Reaching a hand out scratching at the base of Ozzie's horns the younger ghoul's eyes fluttered shut and a purr filled the room.

The two ghouls leaning on each other now back against the wall. "Did something happen in the pit baby bat? Is that why you were scared?" Ozzie's head dropped from Phantom's shoulder to his chest. "Yeah, something happened." Ozzie's hands gripped the fabric of the sweatpants. "Is that why you're scared?" A hand rubs the multi-ghoul's side gently. The ghoul nodded slowly at the older ghoul's question. "Look you don't have to tell me what happened if you don't want to but I want you to know that I'm here for you and if you need to talk to me about anything I'll listen." Ozzie fully relaxed against Phantom. Tail wrapped around his tail before Phantom felt Ozzie's body go limp.

The door opened and in walked the Earth ghoul. "What the fuck Mountain!" The awake and shorter ghoul hissed quietly and his hold on Ozzie tightened a bit. "You kiss him and leave him in the greenhouse, what were you thinking?" Little sparks of quintessence floated around Phantom's hands. "I wasn't thinking." The larger ghoul looked down at the sleeping multi ghoul and you could still see the tears that stained his cheeks. "He was crying?" Mountain asked, looking back up at Phantom. "I found him passed out and curled in a ball holding onto a small bouquet of flowers with tears drying on his face so of course he's been crying Mountain." Phantom snapped then looked at Mountain with sad eyes. "You promised we wouldn't make our mate sad or cry and he has already cried," Phantom whispered as the multi-ghoul twitched in his sleep.

"I know and I'm sorry starlight, I'll fix this." Walking over and placing a kiss on Phantom's horn and caressing Ozzie's cheek noticing the small flinch from him. "I'm sorry Bug." The Earth Ghoul's apologies fell only on the two smaller ghouls. Motioning for Phantom to lie down and take Ozzie with him. Phantom plopped down and brought Ozzie down with him as Mountain covered the two with a blanket. "I'll be back before you both wake-up," Mountain whispered, turning the lamp off in the room and heading back out the door. Phantom smiled and nuzzled Ozzie's head, purring in return. Ozzie woke up at the sudden vibrations he felt from Phantom's purring; he looked up at Phantom, a content look in his eyes. The two ghouls sat there, content in the moment and enjoying the closeness. Ozzie felt a warmness in his heart that he hadn't felt in a long time other than he felt with his packmates. He smiled, feeling at peace. Phantom purred and leaned into Ozzie, feeling the same contentment. Ozzie and Phantom stayed like that, content in the moment, until Ozzie felt himself getting tired for the third time that night. He yawned and stretched, an arm draped over Phantom's waist as he lay on his stomach his face turned towards Phantom. The quintessence ghoul followed his lead, yawning and stretching followed by low uninterrupted purrs. The two ghouls both feel content and happy in each other's presence.
