"Please, sit anywhere you'd like Sugawara, if you'd like you can join me in the kitchen while I prepare the tea and make us a treat." (Y/n) said.
Sugawara followed (Y/n) to the kitchen after closing the door behind him and pulled out a chair, "Okay." he said cheerfully as he sat.
(Y/n) pulled out a small pot on the stove and filled it with water and began to boil it, "I know I've said this already but again, thank you Sugawara for being there for me. I don't know what I would've done if you weren't there." she said.
He smiled nervously, "No, no it's okay really. Besides I think you handled yourself pretty well, I mean, you yelled your thoughts and feelings about them and not only that you didn't go all rabid like Semi's girlfriend did." he said pretending to claw like a cat.
(Y/n) winced at the word girlfriend, it still hurt her to know that she wasn't with Semi anymore but she knew that in order to get over him she would have to put up with certain things like this. She knew she would eventually heal from her heart break and she hoped it wasn't a long process but everything is easier said than done.
For a moment she stayed quiet, thinking about the past again. She missed him deeply as any other person would miss someone they loved. She often heard that when you're going through a heartbreak you could feel the pain in your heart, physically. Obviously she never believed any of that but now that she's going through it, she understood. It was like being stabbed with an ice pick in the heart, not only was his confrontation so cold towards her it was aching and in order for her to heal, she had to wait for that ice pick to melt. Sure there will be a big scar and you will remember but you will heal.
"(Y/n)? Are you alright?" Sugawara said, trying to get her attention.
(Y/n) looked up and turned to face Suga, "Sorry, I was just lost in my thoughts..." she mumbled.
He furrowed his brows and crossed his arms, "Come," he said pulling the seat next to him out, "Sit and let's talk about it. I may not be a girl but I will try my best to understand."
Again, (Y/n) could feel herself wanting to cry but she held herself back. She lowered the fire on the stove and slowly made her way next to Sugawara. She crossed her arms and placed them on top of the table, she was unsure of how to start off, where to start off.
"So, tell me. What was it about Semi?" Suga asked, breaking the silence.
She sniffled, trying to hold back her tears, "What was it not about? Eita... Eita, when I first met him he wasn't like this, Sugawara..." she mumbled.
"Then what was he like?"
She closed her eyes trying to remember when they first met. They had met so long ago she could hardly remember how they met, maybe that was one of the many flaws about them. But she could remember the way they acted when they were both happy and unbothered by anyone else.
"The first time we met was during a ceramic class, his niece was someone we constantly had in class and he came often and one day he just asked for my number, well his niece did and she gave it to him and so on and so on. When we went on our first date we went to the park and had a picnic, I thought it was so perfect because he had asked me what kind of food I liked and he made the food for the picnic date. He picked me up and it was just the best date ever."
Sugawara stared at her in awe as she spoke, he could tell she really was in love with Semi.
"Eita was a gentle person Sugawara, I know he often had that cold look on his face and didn't really smile but he was gentle. I remember once we came across a stray kitten and he bawled on the spot. He was literally crying as we took it to the vet, you'd be surprised how many vets are closed so early but as I was saying we took the kitten to the vet and he was just so happy when he was told she was going to be okay." (Y/n) said.
