Sugawara looked at her with a cheerful smile, "Here's you strawberry cheesecake and your coffee." he said as he placed her order down.
(Y/n) nodded, "Ah, th-thank you, Sugawara was it?" she stuttered slightly.
He nodded, "It's no problem at all, if you need anything feel free to let us know." Sugawara said.
(Y/n) smiled shyly and nodded, she watched as he walked away. She sighed in relief as soon as he was out of sight, "Thank god..." she mumbled to herself.
(Y/n) wasn't one to show off her ideas to anyone and would always get embarrassed if people asked about her work. She only liked to share her completed projects and only with other artists, she often found it hard to explain the meaning behind her works to people that had a hard time understanding it so to her it was just easier to associate it with like minded people. She thought maybe that's why Semi no longer wanted to be with her.
Semi had constantly complained to her about her being in the shop far too often. He said it made him feel neglected, like a puppy not getting enough attention. (Y/n) would always offer to bring him to one of her classes but he would always refuse saying that it was "too boring and takes up my time." So instead he would just run off with his friends and play volleyball. She would even offer to spend time with him in the shop after her shift and show him how to work the pottery wheel or to even make something together but again he would refuse. In the end she would just go home after her shift without ever knowing where he was, she could only assume she was with his friends or at home sleeping.
She turned her focus back on her sketchbook and pushed it away and instead pulled over the cheesecake. It surprised her how she still had room left in her stomach considering she had eaten a pint of ice cream all on her own but she couldn't help it, she was heartbroken and if stuffing her face made her feel better so be it.
As she took her first bite from her cake she felt her phone vibrate. She froze, she hadn't even thought about Semi texting her back. She couldn't even remember if she had responded and if she did, what could she have said? Did she beg for him to not leave her? Or did she ask why? She couldn't recall anything.
Nervously she looked through her bag and pulled out her phone, it was Semi. His contact name was just his name with a heart next to it which she still didn't have the heart to change because the last thing she wanted to do was let go of someone that had loved her for so long. She didn't want to let go of Semi and even though she would be fine the thought of having to go through the healing process made her feel afraid. Especially when she knew she wouldn't have any support from her friends, mostly because she didn't have any. Like she said before she had simply lost contact with all her friends from before, the most they could do was comfort her when they had time. Most of their time is taken up by finals and exams, or so she only assumed.
Reluctantly she opened up his message but was surprised.
"Let's meet at the café next door to your parents' shop."
He wanted to talk? She didn't know whether to be happy or not, on one hand she had the chance to talk to him about working it out instead of just walking away but on the other hand she also never wanted to see him again.
She looked at the message for a moment before finally replying, "What time?"
(Y/n) waited for a response, it made her anxious. She didn't know what to do much less say to him when he got here. For all she knew he was just going to probably say to never contact him again although she hoped for a different outcome. She didn't want to seem redundant but again she hoped that she didn't have to let go of him and she hoped he would maybe change his mind about things because again this was out of character for Semi.
