Hawks, the number 2 hero was on patrol the evening when Mirko reported that a black hooded man was walking around, that man was the villain from the L.O.V.
What happens when Hawks follows the villain to a dark alleyway at night and leads...
Smoke soon filled the air, yelling, screaming and children crying made Hawks extremely anxious.
"Excuse me sir." He heard a old lady say behind him, he turned his attention away from a little family to the old woman.
"How can I help you, ma'm" He looked into her eyes. They looked familiar.
"Toga?" He whispered, looking around, making sure no hero was close by.
"It's Dabi." She whispered in her normal voice and not the old lady voice. "He did it, you have to go and get him!" She sounded urgent. "He can't stand the heat, he'll die." Her glossy eyes narrowed, then she simply walked away from the scene.
Hawk's heart sunk, he didn't know why.
'He's a damn villain! He can die, death is what he deserves.' He thought to himself, but his heart denied it, it kept on telling him he doesn't deserve death.
Mirko looked over at her best friend, who seemingly was standing still and doing nothing in the midst of chaos.
"Hawks?" Mirko asked.
It seemed that her voice took him out of his thought, he looked over at Mirko...
'Something is off.' She thought to herself as she made eye contact with with Hawks' glossy eyes. "Are you good?"
Everyone flinched when more windows shattered from a few stories above, more screams and cries had interrupted all the chaos. "I can't let him die." He whispered as Mirko walked closer, but she could hear is very well.
He was about to turn around and run into the fire, but Mirko grabbed his arm and she looked at him, drilling holes through his head, then sternly said, "Your risking your life!"

A tear rolled down his cold cheeks, as he ran into the burning building.
"HAWKS!" Mirko yelled, but she couldn't do anything to protect her best friend.
A few gasps were heard from the crowd, as Mirko fell on her knees, staring hopelessly into the building.
