Hawks landed between the 2 Todoroki's, stopping them from killing one another.
There were silence as they saw the bruises on Hawk's body, shocked at the sight.
He wore a shirt that exposed most of his bruises that was caused mostly by the number 1 Pro hero. He was in on exposing Endeavor but not in on killing him, he was somehow inspired by Dabi's speech that he actually went back to the room to get a shirt that would show the heroes what the other 'hero' did.
Hawks then broke the silence,
"These bruises are not caused by the villain behind me, but the hero so many people look up to...even who I looked up to." He said in a voice with a unidentified emotion.. mixed with anger, sadness, regret, hurt..
"Lair." Endeavor grumbled.
He 'worked' so hard on becoming the number 1, he couldn't lose this now.
"Why lie?" Hawks asked. "Why would I lie? I'm not you."
"Save your lies!" Endeavor yelled, his fire becoming a little bit bigger.
"Then why are you getting worked up if it's not true?" An ash blonde teen asked
And that's when Endeavor's rage got control of his own quirk. (like always)
Dabi remember his past and what happened to him when he was a child, he quickly took action, pushing Hawks out of the way and activating his quirk to defend himself against his fathers' quirk even though he could withstand it.
Blue flames quickly collided with red flames.
'Luckily' no one was burnt dead yet, some of them only got little burns.
"JUST DIE! DIE LIKE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO IN THAT FIRE 11 YEARS AGO!" Endeavor yelled as his fire became stronger, some of it matching the sulfur fire colour as his rage and anger became more.
"YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN A HUGE PIECE OF SHIT! IF I COULD KILL YOU I WOULD!" Dabi yelled back, at this stage everyone was trying to get away from the fire that looked unstable.
Hawks just stared at it with fear in his eyes, memories crashing down on him.
He could feel the handprint on his stomach, it felt like it did that day it happened.
All the bruises that was busy healing felt like it was opening up again.
Dabi could see Hawks literally paralyzed on the ground, with his buff caramel eyes full of fear.
The voices became only louder, draining out all the yelling and shouting from the heroes.
'PROTECT! MUST WIN!' The voices yelled.
Protect
Must win
Protect
Must win.
Kill him.
The chant got so loud it influenced Dabi's flames, overpowering Endeavor's once again.
