"Who did this?" He heard the villain say in a demanding, terrifying voice.
All the hero could do was stutter. "I-I...umm, y-you s-see fu-funny st-story-"
"Don't even try to tell me bullshit!" He whispered in Hawks ear, making him shiver.
"..." he just stayed quiet, terrified to speak.
It concerned Dabi even more, he knew that pain- he wished no one ever went through the pain he did as a child.
It took his childhood away and gave him trauma to deal with and never got any help for it.
"Speak to me." Dabi said in a much calmer voice.
Hawks just turned his head away not to look into Dabi's icy-blue orbs.
Dabi didn't like the silent treatment, he took his warm hand and taking Hawks chin and slowly bringing his face back to his only to look into his beautiful buff caramel eyes...but his eyes were more dull.
No shimmer.
"I-I..." He tried to speak.
"It's him, isn't it?" He asked, he couldn't believe he didn't figure it out before.
The burn on his skin looked like a faded hand print, the bruises on his stomach a little too big for his small sized hands it looked similar, almost identical to those he had.
Hawks knew there was no point in lying, but he also didn't want to expose his childhood hero.
The reason why he actually went to hero training at a young age.
He looked up to the hell flame hero.
Hawks was so exited when he heard he'll start to work with him, only to find out he's the devil.
"Son of a bitch." He muttered.
He carefully took his warm hand away from Hawks chin, standing up.
"Wh-what now?"
"When did this" He made hand gestures before speaking again, "whole thing happen."
Hawks hesitated. "Almost 5 months ago." He quietly said but still audible for the villain to hear.
Hawks was curious why the villain was so obsessed with taking down Endeavor.
"Why?" He asked.
"Pardon?"
"Why do you wanna take him down so bad?"
Dabi stayed quiet for a few seconds, debating if he should tell him or not.
"I was his first born child."
