Jungkook anxiously whispered, "This situation is dire.. what options do we have?" He cowered in a corner of a building, peering out cautiously. Numerous police cars surrounded the area, intensifying his nervousness.
Taehyung bit his lip, glancing at Jungkook. "I believe we should seek assistance from someone in a high position who can help us reach the president," Taehyung mumbled. He grabbed Jungkook's arm and led him deeper into a dark alleyway.
Confused, Jungkook blinked. "But who?" Jungkook questioned. Taehyung turned his head and looked at him for a few seconds before nodding.
"I think I know someone who can help us, but the problem is that he is far away from here. We will have to embark on a long journey through this heavily policed area. It will be extremely challenging," Taehyung explained. Jungkook nodded, swallowing nervously.
This was a disastrous situation. Just a while ago, they had seen news reports on TV labeling them as criminals, focusing on the person who had helped Jungkook escape. Jungkook felt guilty for dragging Taehyung into this mess, although Taehyung reassured him that it was fine. As Jungkook's bodyguard and boyfriend, Taehyung willingly joined in the struggle. Despite the circumstances, Jungkook couldn't help but feel grateful for Taehyung's unwavering support.
Jungkook looked up at the sky as raindrops began to fall. Within seconds, it turned into a heavy downpour. Taehyung covered them both with his jacket, shielding them from the rain.
"It's nighttime. I believe we can make our way to the bus stop now, while remaining hidden, and travel to the person I mentioned earlier. I am confident that he will assist us," Taehyung stated. Jungkook nodded.
The two boys cautiously emerged from their hiding spot, checking for nearby police officers. As they saw some officers engaged in conversation, they seized the opportunity and quickly ran toward the bus stop. They waited for the bus to arrive, their hearts racing as officers walked by. Luckily, the officers didn't pay them any attention, as there were many other people around, and they were still concealed by the jacket Taehyung held over their heads. Jungkook also wore a cap for added disguise.
"Tired?" Taehyung asked when he noticed Jungkook yawning and rubbing his eyes.
Jungkook nodded abruptly. "It must be around midnight, Taehyung. We woke up early in the morning and went to bed late last night," Jungkook grumbled, sitting down on a bench.
Taehyung sat beside him. "I must admit, last night was unforgettable," Taehyung whispered mischievously. Jungkook playfully hit his bicep, blushing.
"The way I passionately made love to you, the sound of your moans, and the way you looked so enchanting and desirable beneath me.. I can't get it out of my mind," Taehyung husked, leaning closer to Jungkook's ear and nibbling on his earlobe.
"T-the bus is here!" Jungkook squeaked, quickly standing up, still blushing. Taehyung hummed, pulling away and standing up as well.
The two boys boarded the bus and settled into the back seats. Fortunately, there weren't many people on board as it was getting late. Jungkook leaned against Taehyung's shoulder, feeling drowsy. Taehyung remained still as he watched Jungkook drift into a slumber, listening to the soft snores escaping his mouth.
Taehyung admired Jungkook's adorable appearance, with his bunny teeth peeking out between his lips. Taehyung was so captivated by Jungkook's beauty that he barely noticed when they arrived at their destination.
"Baby, wake up. We've arrived," Taehyung shook Jungkook, and his eyes slowly fluttered open. Jungkook was about to rub his eyes but instead, he squeaked when Taehyung pulled him off the bus.
Yawning, Jungkook glanced around. The place appeared quiet, with them standing in the middle of the street surrounded by trees and bushes.
"Shall we go, angel?" Taehyung asked, extending his hand towards Jungkook. Jungkook grabbed it, nodding. Taehyung pulled him close, and they walked hand in hand.
After a few minutes of walking, Jungkook found himself standing in front of an enormous mansion, possibly as large as his own, if not bigger.
Taehyung opened the gates and gestured for Jungkook to enter. Without hesitation, Jungkook took Taehyung's hand as they walked into the mansion, disregarding the need to knock.
Standing in the grand hall, an eerie silence enveloped them. Jungkook's gaze was drawn to the magnificent glass chandelier hanging above. The opulence of the surroundings was evident.
"Is anyone here?" Taehyung's voice echoed through the stillness.
No response.
Jungkook's anxiety grew, and he looked at Taehyung, unsure of his own emotions. The silence continued to weigh on them.
"Look who's arrived."
Jungkook froze, his stomach sinking as he glanced up the staircase. Wide-eyed and speechless, fear washed over him. Gripping Taehyung's hand tighter, he instinctively sought refuge behind him, consumed by a sense of dread.
Peeking from behind Taehyung, Jungkook saw his expression remain stoic, his eyes devoid of any emotion. His attention then shifted to the boss descending the stairs, his men standing behind him. Even Ky wore a wicked grin, fixated on Jungkook.
"Taehyung, have you figured where he's hidden that video?" The man inquired, casually toying with a gun in his hand.
Silence lingered.
Jungkook released his grip on Taehyung's hand, taking a step back. His breaths were heavy, his heart pounding. Overwhelmed by confusion and a sense of betrayal, he struggled to comprehend the situation.
He couldn't fathom that his suspicions were true. Could it be possible that Taehyung was sent to retrieve the footage from him? They were lovers, for heaven's sake- Taehyung wouldn't betray him and play with his emotions just to obtain that video.
Tears welled up in Jungkook's eyes as he stared at Taehyung in disbelief. It hurt—hurt immensely. He desperately hoped he was wrong, that Taehyung hadn't betrayed him. It seemed absurd to think that Taehyung would manipulate Jungkook's feelings for the sake of that video.
Unable to contain his emotions, Jungkook sobbed, his tears streaming down his face.
It couldn't be real. Please, let it be a nightmare. Let him wake up in Taehyung's arms, where everything would be alright.
"Yes, I've found it," Taehyung monotoned, grabbing Jungkook's arm and pulling him closer. Taehyung searched Jungkook's pockets and extracted his phone.
Jungkook crumpled to his knees, his heartache intensifying as Taehyung forcefully threw the cellphone to the ground, shattering it. Taehyung then proceeded to stomp on it until it was completely destroyed.
Jungkook's cries grew louder, filled with anguish. This couldn't be happening. Please, let it be a cruel illusion-
Jungkook couldn't comprehend it. Perhaps it was all a terrible dream, and he would wake up in Taehyung's loving embrace, and everything would be fine.
"Take him to my bedroom," Taehyung commanded sternly, glancing at Jungkook, who continued to sob uncontrollably.
Sniffling, Jungkook clenched his teeth, his red eyes focused ahead. He saw Mr. Kim smiling at Taehyung.
"I'm truly proud of you, my son."
