Jungkook's heart pounded in his chest as he stared at Taehyung, his eyes wide with shock and confusion.
How on earth did Taehyung manage to uncover his most private, confidential photos? The realization hit him like a ton of bricks, leaving him frozen in disbelief.
Without a word, Taehyung flung the phone onto the bed, the device landing with a thud. He then nonchalantly stepped away from the bed, his voice barely above a whisper as he muttered, "Go ahead, check if your precious video is still there. I didn't bother with it, got too caught up with stumbling upon those photos of yours."
Taehyung's words hung in the air, leaving Jungkook's mind racing with questions. As Taehyung made his way toward the bathroom, Jungkook's instincts kicked in, propelling him toward the bed. He snatched up the cellphone, his hands trembling with anticipation.
With a deep breath, he powered it on, his heart skipping a beat as he was greeted by the lock screen displaying a photo of him and the other five boys. A wave of relief washed over him, but it was quickly replaced by confusion as he swiped to the home screen, revealing an image of a random anime character.
It was his cellphone, no doubt about it. But how had Taehyung stumbled upon those confidential photos? The mystery hung in the air, leaving Jungkook desperate for answers.
Jungkook wasted no time and rushed to the gallery, his heart pounding so fast. He scrolled through countless videos until he finally stumbled upon the one he had been searching for. As he watched, tears streamed down his face and he couldn't help but let out small sobs. He was so lost in his emotions that he didn't even notice Taehyung had emerged from the bathroom.
"I'll be right back," Taehyung said, pulling out his cellphone upon hearing it ring.
"We have the same phone," Jungkook chuckled, revealing his own phone of the same color. Taehyung nodded and stepped away to answer the call.
"Get ready," Taehyung said, ruffling Jungkook's hair. "We're going out today." And with that, they were off on another adventure together.
"Provide me the cellphone," Taehyung requested and Jungkook frowned, giving Taehyung it. "They can track us with it, it's way better in the event that we turn it off," Taehyung said, turning the phone off and after that turned his own one off as well.
"God, the worst thing that can happen is Ky telling his father about this video." Jungkook cringed, looking at Taehyung's eyes, wild-eyed. "A-and he definitely told about it as of now." Jungkook gulped.
"If he told almost it as of now, meaning there must be someone out there, who would attempt to induce this footage from us."
Jungkook brushed away his tears and slowly made his way out of the room. As he walked down the corridor, he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with worry. His mind was racing with thoughts of how he could possibly go out without being caught by the police or anyone else who might be after him. Taehyung followed him, sensinh his distress. "What's wrong, Jungkook?"
Jungkook hesitated for a moment before finally speaking up. "I don't know how we're supposed to go out when everyone is after me," Jungkook said, his voice trembling.
Taehyung quickly reassured him, explaining that his father had taken care of everything. "The police have announced that the man of mine I shot was a serial killer, and the bandaged guy shot him before dying himself. All the accusations against you have been removed," Taehyung said.
Jungkook felt a wave of relief wash over him, but he couldn't shake the feeling of anger and sadness that still lingered. If everyone thinks the killer of my parents is dead, then I'll make sure it actually comes true, Jungkook thought to himself.
After taking some time to compose himself, Jungkook emerged from his room and found Taehyung and Ky waiting for him in the hallway. Despite everything that had happened, he felt grateful to have friends who cared about him and were willing to help him through this difficult time.
"You look absolutely stunning," Taehyung complimented, his eyes filled with admiration. Jungkook couldn't help but feel a mix of annoyance and amusement at Taehyung's comment.
"We're actually going to see the other guys today and say our goodbyes," Taehyung revealed, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.
Jungkook's eyes widened in disbelief. "Wait, what? What do you mean?" Jungkook stammered, his voice barely audible. Taehyung's smile only grew wider in response.
"It means you're moving in with me," Taehyung declared, his voice filled with excitement. "And not only that, but you're also going to stop studying. I want you to make it clear to them that you won't be meeting them anymore and they should stop trying to contact you."
Jungkook's breath hitched as he tried to process the sudden turn of events. The weight of Taehyung's words sank in, leaving him breathless. "But they're so lively and persistent," Taehyung continued, his tone filled with certainty. "I have no doubt they'll do everything in their power to find a way to see you if you just disappear from their lives like that."
Jungkook fought back the tears welling up in his eyes, his bottom lip trembling as he looked down. The thought of losing his friends was unbearable, and he struggled to find the right words to express his fear. He glanced up at Taehyung, whose expression was unreadable.
"You can't just take my friends away from me," Jungkook stammered, his voice filled with desperation. "What am I supposed to tell them?"
Taehyung's voice turned stern and sharp as he responded, "I am your husband, and therefore, yes, I can. You'll have to tell them that we're moving away together because there are still kidnappers after you. It's for everyone's safety that you cut ties with them, or else things will only get worse."
Jungkook felt his heart drop as Taehyung's words sank in. The threat of losing his friends or having them disappear from his life in Taehyung's own way was too much to bear. Tears streamed down his face as he nodded, unable to meet Taehyung's gaze.
With a heavy heart, Jungkook let his tears flow freely and bowed his head in defeat.
