Chapter Four - Day Two

I honestly think this chapter is crap but :/

"Okay, seriously, I'm telling you, he was hands down the hottest guy I've ever laid my eyes on." I gushed, my hands flying everywhere.

"I know, you've said that about a million times, calm down, will you?" Sara looks at me, a little annoyed.

"Calm do- calm down?! Don't tell me to calm down, I swear to God if you had seen him, you would totally act like this." I rolled my eyes, how dare she tell me to calm down? I had every right to fan girl over this guy. He had been running through my mind the whole of last night and this afternoon too.

"You could've just taken a picture of him." She suggested.

"Okay yeah, like I could ask him "Hey do you mind if I took a photo of your gorgeous face as an exhibit for my girl friend? She would like that." right?" I said sarcastically.

"Yeah, that wasn't too hard right?" She replied with a smile. Do you see what I mean, people? My friends are idiots. Plain idiots.

"Yeah whatever. So what are we doing tonight?" I changed the subject, not really wanting to stop talking about him but it's not like Sara understands.

"I don't know, wanna just stay in and watch movies?" She suggested.

"Sure, but we need to get tons of ice cream before that." I stood up.

"Where are you going?" She asked, looking up at me.

"I'm thinking of joining Alex and Lily for a swim." I responded, taking my baby pink bikini out of my suitcase and changed.

"Oh alright, well I guess I'll join you guys too. Wait for me!" She exclaimed while speed walking to her room, which was 2 rooms to my right.

Once we decided we were done swimming, it was about 6.15 pm and we headed back to the loft to take a quick shower. About 20 minutes later, we were all ready and gathered in the kitchen.

"Are we gonna go get ice cream or.." I asked the three humans.

"Oh right, okay yeah we can go. Alex, Lily, do you guys want to come too?" Sara asked the two.

"I'm good here, thanks." Alex replied.

"I think I wanna come along." Lily decided.

"Okay, Alex, please behave." Sara said as she walked towards her room, no doubt grabbing her purse.

"Yeah Alex, don't be a child." I added on, sticking my tongue out at him.

"And I'm the child?" He gave me an unamused look.

"Whatever." I stalked off to my room, Lily trailing behind.

Once in my room, I applied a quick layer of mascara and some nude lipstick, before deciding I looked decent. Yes, I'm wearing some make up just to go to the convenient store. Why, you ask? I may or may not hope to accidentally bump into Rix later on. Of course, I'm not going to risk looking ugly if I actually do. A girl can try right?

Three or so minutes later, I heard Sara yell from the front door.

"Alexa, now is not the time for you to be late, hurry up!"

"Coming!" I shouted back, grabbing my wallet and phone before switching off the light and walking to them. As I passed the living room, I saw Alex sprawled out on the couch.

"Hey Al, you sure you don't wanna come along? You're gonna be the only one here." I asked.

"Yeah... Woah Lexa, look at you, being a math prodigy." He retorted.
