Jungkook stare at the wall of his room... The waves of memory hit him again.
"Leave me, please. Don't do this to me," the fifteen-year-old continuously chanted until he fainted. Jungkook slowly opened his eyes and was met with a gentle, comforting light. He blinked his eyes several times.
"Hey, are you okay?" a soft voice reached his ears.
"My... Brothers..." That was his first word.
"They are here," the voice assured him.
"Hyung," Jungkook heard a sobbing sound. "Yoongi," he called out to the boy.
"Hyung..." The sobbing turned into a loud cry.
"Baby..." Jungkook tried to sit up, but a sharp pain made him scream. "No... I can't..." He begged for relief.
"Please relax," someone who seemed like an angel gently guided him back to the bed.
It took Jungkook two days to piece together what had happened. He had been subjected to a brutal assault, but someone had come to his rescue. He remained unconscious for two weeks. During his recovery, someone brought his baby brothers to the house where he was staying.
Yeonju couldn't comprehend what had happened to his hyung, so he tried to console him, saying, "Your boo boo will go away now," just like Jungkook used to tell him when he fell down. Yoongi, consumed by anger, harbored a burning desire to seek vengeance against the person responsible for harming his brother.
"I am Jin," the person who appeared angelic told Jungkook gently. "Do you know what happened to you?"
Jungkook burst into tears, and through his sobs, he uttered a name, "Kim Taehyung..."
"Just relax now," Jin reassured him. "Everything will be alright."
Determination filled Jungkook as he said, "I want to go to the police station. I want to file a complaint against him."
Jin took a deep breath and called the boy's name, "Jungkook." Then, with a trembling voice, he confessed, "Taehyung is my son. I am his mother."
"We are going home," Jungkook said, "Whatever you do for us, I will pay back." he then called out to Yoongi, "Yoongi!..."
But Jin interrupted, "No, Jungkook listen. Please. My son was drugged. Please, please, I will beg you..." Jin knelt down in front of the fifteen-year-old. "Please..."
"No... I won't leave him!" Jungkook screamed defiantly.
"You can't do anything against him," Jin pleaded. "He will escape, but think about yourself, your life, your brothers. You've become a hot topic in this country because my son comes from a wealthy family. But in the end, you and your brothers will be alone. I'm begging you. If you keep silent, I will help you. Please, I know what I'm doing, but please, Jungkook, please...
"Just because we are poor, just because we are orphans, why should we keep our mouths shut... Why?" Jungkook asked with frustration.
Jin hugged him tightly, tears streaming down her face. "Jungkook... My son... I am sorry... It's a mother's instinct... Please..." Jin also cried, his voice trembling. "I will take care of you and your brothers... Please,
son... Please..."Jungkook pushed Jin away, his eyes filled with emotion. "If your son or daughter were in my place, would you do this to him or her? You said you're a mother. What if you were my mother? Would you ask me to keep silent?"
Jin was taken aback by his words, her gaze filled with remorse. "I don't know... I don't have any answers, but if you want to file a complaint against my son, you can... Then what?... The leading advocates will come for him... But what about you... What about your brothers..." he said to the fifteen-year-old boy who was subjected to brutal rape.
Jungkook stared at him with a sense of hopelessness. "He's nothing... A big zero..." He sat on the floor and cried like a mad man.
Jin compelled Jungkook and his brothers to leave with him. Kook obeyed, driven by his fear of returning home and an overwhelming sense of dread.
Jungkook carefully tucked Yeonju into bed, covering him with a warm duvet. He then tiptoed out of the room, taking in the vast, luxurious house. Every detail seemed foreign to him. Slowly, he made his way downstairs, his injuries still hindering his movements.
"Slowly," Jin called out to him from downstairs, but Jungkook froze when he saw someone. His breath quickened, and he started to pant heavily. "You..." he stammered, then screamed in sheer terror.
Jin and Yoongi rushed to his side. "Hyung!" Yoongi tried to embrace him, but Jungkook pushed him away and continued screaming.
"Mom..." Taehyung's voice interrupted the chaos.
Only then did Jin notice Taehyung's presence. "Tae, what are you doing here?" she asked.
Pointing a finger accusingly at the 17-year-old, Yoongi, the 12-year-old, seethed with anger. "You... how dare you do this to my hyung?" He sprinted toward Taehyung, his determination resembling that of a lion targeting its prey.
