After numerous warm mornings, Jungkook found himself facing another challenging day. Insecurity once again crept into his world as he sat in front of the observation room, where Yoongi was battling for his life. Jungkook steadfastly refused to let Yeonjun move an inch away from him, fearing the prospect of losing him as well.

"Kooki, come, let's have something. I brought food for you," Mina said to him.

"Did Yoongi eat?" Jungkook asked.

"Why are you talking like children, Kooki? How can he?" Mina replied.

"I asked him to eat before leaving from home, but he said he'll be late for the flight. My poor boy," Jungkook said.

"Kooki, don't lose yourself, please. Let's go to the room and eat something," Mina urged.

"Yeonju, go with her. Just be with her. Don't go anywhere," Jungkook instructed.

"I will. Just go," Yeonjun reassured Jungkook.

Jungkook walked to the glass door, looking at his brother. The breathing pump dimmed and swelled from time to time.

"Hey," Taehyung hugged Jungkook from behind. "He's doing well, baby. Please, be strong. If you become ill, your wild cat will kill me once he wakes up," Taehyung said.

"When is he going to wake up?" Jungkook asked.

"Soon, very soon. Come, take a bath, then eat something," Taehyung said, hugging the boy sidewise and leading him to the room.

***********

"Tae," Jin's voice trembled on the phone, "That boy is causing chaos, it's like the start of the third world war."

Taehyung, concerned, questioned, "Who?"

"Your brother," Jin replied, his tone revealing panic. "He's gone wild, smashing everything, and he's completely drunk. Tae, you have to come over, please."

Tae ended the call and rushed to the scene. "Kookie," he said urgently, "I need to head home."

Jungkook, looking distressed, implored, "No, please stay. I can't handle this alone."

Tae walked over to Jungkook, holding his hand and reassured, "I'll be back soon. Don't worry."

Tae gently cradled Jungkook's face in his hands, soothingly assuring him, "Kookie, it's only for a moment. I'll be back in just a few minutes. Hoseok needs me. Please, try to hold on." Though Jungkook's eyes welled with tears, Taehyung offered a comforting smile and held him close, whispering, "I love you, baby. No matter what happens, I'll be right here with you. Just give me 30 minutes." Taehyung stepped outside, leaving a tearful Jungkook at the door, their gazes locking one last time before he walked away.

Jungkook returned to the observation room after a quick meal. At times, he found himself gazing at Yoongi and then settling into a chair.

A nurse approached him, offering a warm smile, and he inquired anxiously, "How is he? Is he okay?"

"He's doing well," the nurse assured him. "My shift is ending, and a new nurse will take over," she added.

Jungkook simply nodded. After a brief pause, a new nurse entered the room. Jungkook stood before the glass door, his eyes fixed on his brother. He walked back to his seat as a young lady doctor entered the room.

"Jeon Jungkook?" the doctor asked as she sat down beside him.

"Yes," Jungkook replied, "How is he?"

"He's doing well. Do you remember me?" the doctor inquired.

Jungkook stared at her until she continued, "I'm  Yeon, the one who helped out at school, from Kim Taehyung."

"Oh," Jungkook responded with a faint smile.

"I'm a junior surgeon here," Yeon explained. "I saw you with Taehyung. Are you married?" she asked.

Jungkook nodded, saying, "We are. Can I see my Yoongi?" His desperation was evident.

"I'm sorry, I can't allow you," Cha Yeon replied, looking around. "Kim Taehyung strictly ordered that."

Jungkook furrowed his brow. "Why?" he asked.

"I don't know,"  Yeon admitted, "but Jungkook, I noticed some marks on your brother's body, and I'm sure they're not from the accident. They look like nail marks and bite marks. Is he married?"

Jungkook stared at the doctor and pleaded, "Please, just take me to my brother."

"I'm drowning in guilt, hyung... I... Hoseok confessed, looking at his brother.

"It's going to be okay, Hoseok. Please, try to stay calm," Taehyung comforted him.

"No... I can't... I... I need to tell everything to Jungkook."

"Yes, we will, but not now. If you say something now, he might react strongly. Let's wait until Yoongi is discharged from the hospital. Then, we can explain everything to Jungkook," Taehyung said, gently patting his brother's cheek.

"Hyung, I can't take it anymore. I was only seeking revenge, but I've fallen for him. I want to apologize," Hoseok admitted.

"It's okay; don't lose your mind. We'll take this step by step once Jungkook and Yoongi gets back to a normal life."

"Has he forgiven me, hyung?"

"The Jeon brothers are quite stubborn. It took me ten years to seek forgiveness from him."

Just then, Jin rushed in. "Taehyung, the police are here."

"The police? Why? Stay here," Taehyung instructed Hoseok before walking out.

"Is there a problem, sir?" Taehyung asked the officer.

The officer replied, "We need to see Mr. Jung Hoseok."

"Why? For what?" Taehyung inquired.

"Mr. Jeon Jungkook has filed a complaint against your brother. Please call him," the officer explained.

"What kind of complaint?" Taehyung pressed for details.

"Mr. Kim Taehyung, this is a very serious accusation. Please call him; we need to question him."

"Sir, my brother isn't in a good state. He's a bit drunk. I'll take him to the police station," Taehyung offered.

"Can we meet him?" the police officer requested.

"Yes, I'll call him," Taehyung said, heading to Hoseok's room.

"Arrest him," the police officer instructed his assistant.

"Arrest? Why?" Taehyung exclaimed.

"Mr. Kim, your brother allegedly harassed his assistant, and we have evidence. Arrest him," the officer stated.

"Sir, please, it's not what it seems. Besides, that boy had an accident," Taehyung pleaded.

"Mr. Jeon JungKook filed a clear complaint against him, and we have eyewitnesses," the officer insisted.

"Who are these eyewitnesses?" Taehyung demanded.

"Sorry, Mr. Kim. It's not my duty to explain everything to you. Take him," the officer ordered as they escorted Hoseok outside.

"Hobi!" Hoseok's grandmother ran behind him.

Jin turned to Taehyung and asked, "What's going on, Tae?"

"I don't know," Taehyung said as he grabbed his car keys and rushed outside.

"Stop," the old lady halted him. "Is this how you take care of your brother, Taehyung?"

"Grandma, I..."

"Don't speak," she shouted. "Or did you make your wife do this? Do you want everything in your name? The companies, houses, money? Is that what you're after? Is that why you're staging this drama?"

"Grandma, please, I don't know anything. Let me go," Taehyung pleaded as he ran towards his car.

"Don't let my grandson got killed the way your husband and family killed my daughter ," she shouted from behind.
