Taehyung glanced at Jungkook, who had been crying for minutes. His heart urged him to embrace the sobbing boy, but his rational mind held him back.Suddenly, the doctor entered the room, and both of them hurried to meet the medical professional.
"He's going to be okay; it's just a fever. You can go home later this evening," the doctor reassured them.
Taehyung inquired, "Can we stay with him?"
The doctor replied, "Not in the ICU, but he's being transferred to a regular room now. You can visit him there."
"Thank you, Doctor," Taehyung expressed his gratitude.
*********
"Do you want something to eat?" Jungkook asked.
Jimin replied in a tired voice, "No, just sit with me. I want to sleep."
Jungkook comforted him, saying, "Hush, Momma is here. Just sleep."
Jimin's eyes darted around, searching, "Appa? Where is Appa?"
"He's sitting outside," Jungkook reassured.
Jimin pleaded, "I want to see him. Call him here, please. I want my Appa."
"I will. Don't cry," Jungkook wiped his tears. "Don't cry."
Taehyung entered the room and inquired, "Hey, what happened?"
"Lay beside me. I want to sleep," Jimin said.
Taehyung removed his shoes and lay beside him. Jimin immediately nestled into his chest, while Jungkook sat in a chair, watching over them.
"He's been like this since childhood," Taehyung shared.
Jungkook nodded in agreement.

"Hyung, Hobi opened the door in a hurry. Concerned, he rushed towards little Jimin, who was peacefully sleeping.
Yoongi also entered the room.
"Shh, he's sleeping. Let's not make noise," Taehyung whispered to his brother. "Just a fever, he'll be fine. How did the meeting go? Did they agree to our conditions?"
"Yes, they did. We can proceed with the registration next week," Yoongi replied, relieved.
"That's great news," Taehyung tried to sit up but winced. "My hand is hurting."
"I'll take care of him," Hobi offered, gently scooping the baby into his arms. However, Jimin began to cry when he left his father's warmth.
"Jungkook, could you stay with him for a bit?" Taehyung requested.
"Of course," Jungkook replied, sitting on the bed and comforting the crying child. "Hey, it's okay, it's Momma. Please don't cry." Jimin soon drifted back to sleep.
"Have you eaten?" Yoongi asked Taehyung. "I'll grab some food."
"Please bring some water," Jungkook added.
*************
The four of them exchanged glances. "Jimina... Let him go," Hoseok said.
"Nooo," the child cried, clinging to his mother while tears welled up. "Come with me."
"Alright then, take him with you," Taehyung conceded.
"No... Appa," the boy cried again. He wanted both of them.
"Hyung, take both of them to our home," Hoseok suggested.
Taehyung glanced at Jungkook, who stood in front of the hospital with the child in his embrace.
"No... Hobi, he's going to be uncomfortable with me. You go with them to his house. I'll come there in the morning," Taehyung decided.
"Jimin won't even take a sip of water without you," Hobi added.
"Hyung," Yoongi called his brother. "What should we do now?"
"I'll go to his home. I don't want my boy to feel sad because of me," Jungkook resolved.
"That's fine," Hobi agreed. "Come on, let's go. Honey, go home," he said to Yoongi.
Taehyung instructed, "Hoseok, drop him at home."
"But, Hyung?" Hobi questioned.
"Do as I said," Taehyung stated sternly as he walked to his car.
"I'll drop you in the middle of the road," Hoseok told Yoongi.
"Then Appa will kick you out of the home," Jimin teased.
"Are you alright now?" Hoseok asked, narrowing his eyes.
"Eee," Jimin replied, showing his teeth.
"Hoseok," Jungkook called.
"Yes, Kooky?" Hoseok responded.
"Please, take Yoongi home safely," Jungkook requested.
"Oh, don't ask me like this. I'll do it," Hobi said with a smile.
"Are you trying to flirt with my mom?" Jimin teased.
"This child of bat," Hoseok muttered.
Taehyung pulled up in his car in front of them. Yoongi opened the door and looked at his hyung. Jungkook gulped and took a deep breath before entering the car with the child.
"Hey, big man, go sit in the back," Hobi instructed.
"Uncle Yoongi, you should sit in the back. He's a pervert," Jimin laughed in a tired voice.
"Jimin," Jungkook called.
"Call me once you reach," Taehyung told Yoongi, then he started the car and drove towards his home with his child and wife.
"Honey," Hobi hugged the boy with one hand. "Oh, my baby omega, allow your alpha to mark you," he said with a wink.
"This hospital has a beautiful mortuary. Should I book a bed for you there?" Yoongi asked, "Leave me, pervert," said as he pushed Hobi and walked to his car.
"Hey, wait for me. There are other alphas around; they'll be scared if they see your ugly face," Hoseok ran behind the boy. "Hey, wait." Take me with you...
***********
Taehyung parked his car in front of his home. Jimin had already fallen asleep in his mother's embrace.
"Grandma is here now, please don't mind her," Taehyung assured Jungkook.
Jungkook nodded. "Pappa?" he asked.
"he's out of the country. Don't worry, I won't let her touch you," Taehyung reassured.
Taehyung opened the car door and took the child. "Come," he said to Jungkook.
The boy gazed at the mansion. The last time he came here, Jimin was three years old. He walked slowly into the house.
Taehyung headed straight to Jimin's room, placing the child on the bed. "Stay here. I'll tell the maids to provide you with clothes and everything you need," Taehyung said as he walked out.
Jungkook looked around the room and found his photo on the table. He glanced at his sleeping child and wondered, "I'm doing all this for you. How have you become my strength? Why do you love me?" He stared at his son, pondering these questions.
