Jungkook gazed up at the ceiling, adorned with superhero posters, his mind restless, and sleep eluding him. His thoughts turned to his brothers, and he'd already made numerous calls, urging them to stay safe. Quietly, he checked on the little boy who was peacefully sleeping, tucking him in with a warm duvet.
As he stepped outside, the flood of memories and emotions overwhelmed him. This house held a multitude of cherished moments and underlying sadness. Slowly descending the stairs, Jungkook pondered the possibility of Taehyung never visiting. It was a thought that often crossed his mind.
The house resembling an old British bungalow with a sprawling lawn in the front. The sensation of wet grass under his bare feet, glistening with dewdrops, sent a refreshing chill throughout his body. It was a moment of contemplation, where Jungkook was enveloped by the weight of his memories and the serenity of the night.
It's cold Outside, a deep voice echoed through the cold night, but Jungkook remained undaunted; he recognized the voice.
With a heavy sigh, he whispered, "It's alright. You don't need to stay awake."
How is Jimin?"
"He's peacefully asleep. My poor son... Why did you burden him with all of that? He keeps apologizing, as if he's to blame. My poor boy..."
"He deserves to know that his mother is purer than an angel."
"Me? A mother? No, that's impossible. I can't be a good mother. I don't deserve his love."
"He deserves your love. My grandmother kept pushing me to marry someone... Who else could be a mother to him like you?"
"He loves you more than anything. I've witnessed it with my own eyes." Jungkook said.
As Taehyung approached and stood beside Jungkook, he asked, "Jungkook... Can I ask you something?"
Jungkook responded, "What?"
"Can you... Can you remain here? As his mother... As my husband... I'm not asking for love, concern, or anything more, just your presence. It may sound selfish, but I'm weary, tired of it all. Please, stay with us. We need you," Taehyung implored, his words carrying the weight of longing and exhaustion, painting a poignant plea for Jungkook to be a pillar of strength in their lives.
I "I can't... Please don't ask me again. I don't know how to forgive you," Jungkook responded firmly.
Taehyung implored, "Don't forgive me. I'm not asking for that. I know I don't deserve that... but..."
Jungkook clenched his fist, reiterating, "No... It's a no."
With a sigh, Taehyung said, "I'm sorry. Goodnight."
Jungkook heard Taehyung's footsteps moving away. As he gazed into the night, he pondered, "Do I not deserve better?" A sudden voice....
"BOY...... This time Jungkook startled..."
"Why are you screaming, Hoseok?" Jungkook asked.
Hoseok explained, "I thought you were a ghost. That's why I made a sound. What are you doing here? It's cold outside. If something happens to you, your 'wildcat' brother will kill us."
Jungkook inquired, "Wild cat?"
Hoseok chuckled, "Your Yoongi... that boy is nothing but a wild cat."
Jungkook hushed him, "Shut up."
Hoseok continued, "Go and sleep, Jungkook. You know, a good-looking boy standing alone in the night on such a romantic night... you know, as a young hot-blooded man, I feel..."
