KEELI SLOWLY RETURNED TO CONSCIOUSNESS and her surroundings became gradually more tangible — the hard floor underneath her, the stuffy air she breathed. But her mind was still hazy, and she couldn't open her eyes, or hear anything around her. Where was she? She wasn't on the boat anymore, she was... She didn't know where she was — or what had happened — she couldn't remember. Everything was so blurry, and then, when she thought she remembered something, the memory slipped away from her—
"Keeli."
The voice was muffled, far away.
"Keeli."
It got clearer, it came closer.
"Keeli!"
Keeli's eyes snapped open — and a face was hovering mere inches above hers.
Luffy grinned. "Hey!"
Keeli jumped, startled.
He sat back, giving her space so she could sit up. It was pretty dark, and her eyes had to adjust to the little light in the room— no, the box. Keeli looked around, frantic, her heart starting to race inside her chest. They were trapped in a huge wooden box. Zoro was sitting next to her, awake, but still disoriented, while Nami was in the process of waking up. Fear crept up her spine. And then the memories of what had happened came back to her — the red light, the smoke bombs.
"They took my swords," Zoro grumbled.
"And my rucksack," Nami groaned, slowly sitting up. "With all my navigation gear."
