THIRTEEN THE TRICK OF STOICISM(BLOOD ON HER HANDS)
⚓️
"EASY. EASY!" NAMI YELLED as they carried Zoro onto the ship. "Easy. Easy. Don't drop him."
"I didn't. He's really heavy," Usopp said. "I mean, he's got a really big head. It's, like, freakishly big."
"What does that have to do with anything?" Nami countered.
They heaved Zoro onto the table in the kitchen of the Going Merry — with quite a bit of difficulty because this guy was the opposite of light. And he was unconscious, which made him even heavier. The muscles in Keeli's arms were burning, but she didn't care. All she could focus on right now was making sure that Zoro didn't die, and she had no fucking idea how to do that. It was safe to say, Keeli was panicking. They needed help.
They needed a doctor.
"Zoro? Can you hear me?" Luffy asked, his voice shaking.
Keeli went back to pressing her gloves to Zoro's wound. But they were already soaked through with his blood and not doing much to help anymore.
"Where's the first aid kit?" Usopp asked, frantically looking around.
"Do we even have a first aid kit?" Nami looked from Zoro's chest to Keeli.
"Zoro?" Luffy tried again.
"We need towels," Keeli said, trying to keep a clear head, trying to ignore the panic closing in on her (it wasn't working) "For the bleeding."
"Towels. Yeah." Usopp started opening and closing every kitchen cabinet, the noises — the constant slamming of doors — accompanying the sound of her heartbeat pounding in her ears. "These are all I could find. Where's he bleeding from?"
