After the battle, Inyra was obviously exhausted even though this wasn't his first time using magic, but it was the first time using magic in combat.

From today's battle, it was obvious Inyra is better at close combat rather far combat

Inyra made a mental note of that, so he knows what to improve on. He wiped his forehead and stared blankly into the grass. He was deep in thought

He was debating on what his next move is. Should he mend the relationship with his family first, or should he continue practicing his EM? The pros of getting family support would be

Unconditional love and support from the Duke: Which means Anything Inyra wants he will get no matter the cost or the price. Which would obviously come in handy.

Support and respect from the oldest son of the duke household, which means free training sword training from him

Respect from the 2nd son of the dukes household, which means free connections to strong, influential people.

Love, Respect, and Support The only daughter of the dukes household, which means all of the above

So if he were to gain the love and respect from his family members, he'd be at many advantages, especially Miciela (only daughter of the Dukes household)

But out of all of them, Miciela's love and respect would be the hardest to get, but it'd be the most beneficial.

And Inyra has a lot of skills that are in desperate need of improving, Like his sword skills or his EM, despite his talents he's still a rookie that just started using magic a few days ago.

But out of all the few, Akasii's love and support will be the easiest to get (Akasii is the first son), but it's less beneficial in comparison to Miciela.

He decided to practice his EM and learn what kind of Mana he was blessed with, then gain the love and respect from his family

Which really shouldn't be too hard. If he can do all of these things, the possibility of death would just be a fever dream.

But then again, Desiree is also a problem as she'd have more advantages over him by being more experienced and having the ability to put on a facade.

Inyra was deep in his thoughts

Inyra felt a hand on his shoulder and finally awoke from his thoughts.

"Young master! Are you okay?! Would you like me to call a physican?!!"

A maid cried out loud as she took hold of Inyra's hands and gripped it.

Inyra looked at her dumbfounded and was confused before he snatched his hand back.

"No, thanks for worrying, I guess."

Inyra said as he held his wrist in his hand and twisted it slowly.

He wiped his head with the towel and gave it to the maid.

Kailua, who was watching everything from Smirked a bit

This was quite amusing to him

He was shocked and amused to know that the same pathetic, attention deprived, Leech could be capable of everything he had just seen.

Inyra had always been confusing from day 1.

He(Kailua) got up from where he was observing from and walked over to Inyra, who was busy being lost in his own thoughts.

"Inyra," Kailua said calmly, but Inyra didn't respond

"Inyra," He said again

"Inyra,"

This obviously wasn't working

'What is he thinking about?' (<- Kailua's thoughts)

Kailua decided to resort to other means and leaned in.

He leaned in enough to whisper softly into his ear, "Inyra~"

As soon as this happened, as if on command, Inyra snapped from reality and instinctively pushed Kailua away

He blinked repeatedly before comprehending what the hell was going on.

"Oh, sorry." Inyra said expressionlessly

"It's OK, also, before you go, I would like to ask if you're coming to my coming of age ceremony?"

"No." He replied bluntly

Kailua was a little stunned by this. This was the first time some had ever been straight up with him. They'd usually dodge the question when asked.

"Well, thanks for your honesty. It was a pleasure meeting you today."

Inyra was mentally drained, exhausted, so as soon as he came back, he made sure the first thing he did was lay on his bed.

Today, he was able to get support for the crown prince

Now, because of that, working on his reputation won't be the slightest bit hard.

After he irons out all of the mistakes past, Inyra plans to slack off all day.

But until then,

Inyra sits up from his comfortable bed and yawns softly before completely getting off his bed.

He walked over to his bookshelf, and and grabbed the same 'romance' book

I started reading the second chapter, which mostly focused on mana and dived deeper into the concept of mana

And how people with mana "disappear" without out a trace as soon as they inform the public about the fact they have mana.

And how to balance your EM and Your mana together, and if you are able to do this, you'll be able to obtain a special feat.

Inyra was unsure and curious as to what the "special feat" could possibly be

But as soon as he was about to start chapter 3, which dives deep into it

A knock

"Oh, such perfect timing," He mumbled quietly to himself

He was so deeply invested in the book that he forgot about dinner and was 10 minutes late

And he can't just not attend because this'll be important if he wants to build a better relationship with his family

He got up and opened the door, and he saw his personal butler that was here to escort him.

He sighed in slight annoyance as he was just getting to the good part of the "romance" book

"This dinner will bring me closer with family," He whispered to himself while taking deep breaths.
