Chapter 4 - Help

Fushiguro's been acting weird lately. I'm not sure what it is though. He seems to be.. avoiding me, almost. He would excuse himself elsewhere when I go to talk to him. I, having a massive crush on him, am very disheartened.

He said he was planning something, something for my birthday? But it's tomorrow, isn't it?

Hmm, I'm quite sure it's not a surprise for me. Besides, he's already given me a gift. So what else could he be planning for? A.. confession?!

I didn't know he had an interest. So if it is a confession, then what am I going to do about it? Do I just let them be happy or try to take Fushiguro away? But that would make him sad..

Okay, I'm thinking too much. Maybe it isn't a confession or anything, he might just be in a bad mood.

*knock knock*

My door makes the sound and I jump out of my bed, hitting the floor hard. I'm whacking myself a lot these days.

I open the door with a grumble, and Kugisaki barges in.

"Yo, Itadori" she says, laying down on my bed. Is this my room or hers? "I have decided to help you with your love life!"

I blink. And I blink again.

Kugisaki, the most unreliable person in the world thinking she can help me with a guy? Yeah, no.

"That's a hard pass, sorry Kugisaki. I'm totally fine. I can handle this myself." I assure her, but she doesn't seem convinced.

"Oh, really? You don't want to know what Fushiguro is thinking?" That got me interested.

"You know how he feels about me?" I stare at her with puppy eyes, hoping to get a good answer.

"No-" I push her out of the room within a second, and close the door on her face. "H-Hey!! I didn't even get to finish my sentence!"

I try to ignore her, but I realize Fushiguro is my neighbor and he might be out for my head in a minute.

I let her in and she let out a big sigh. "Honestly, you can't just kick me out like that!" I urge her to continue.

"Okay okay, so I have a plan. I want to have a 'private' talk with him to get to know if he has a crush or anything. I'll tell you as soon as I find out. How about that?" This is promising, so I agree to her. She is surprisingly good at these stuff.

Kugisaki gives me a wink then exits the room. I hear Fushiguro's door open and close, hear a bit of arguing then they suddenly hush down. Hmm, Fushiguro probably would've argued a bit more, does she have more blackmail? I don't know how she gets them but they are useful, when it's not ourself she's targeting.

I don't know how to wait so I sit on my bed and get my headphones. I close my eyes and listen to the music blasting in my ears. At this rate, I could fall asleep.

I didn't fall asleep. I am still way too hyper to do that. I need to know what Fushiguro is thinking. I lay there for another 10 minutes or so, then Kugisaki comes in with a bit of a smile on her face.

"So, before you ask what he said, I will tell you." She shushes me as I stand up to see her. "You have a chance." I was about to celebrate when she shushes me again. "AHEM. As I was saying, you have a chance because you are a boy. Apparently, he is pansexual."

That's right. I haven't even thought of how he would feel if me, a boy, liked him. I won't admit this out loud, but I really do owe Kugisaki. She's a great friend.

"Is there anything else?" I ask, my eyes shining.

"He also does have a crush." She looks away.

My world shatters. Of course he had a crush. I'm probably not good enough for him anyway.

"Oh. Alright then. You can go now." I was about to push her out but she stops me.

"Hey, hey! Don't be so disappointed. I didn't even tell you who!" That's right. After I find out who it is, I will murder them. Actually no. Then Fushiguro would be sad then I would be sad. Aghhh I don't know anymore.

"Once again, AHEM. He didn't tell me who, but someone who's always nice to him and a popular person. Can you guess who?" She's looking at me like I know who it is. Of course I don't. I don't really know any popular people..

"Would it possibly me GOJO SENSEI?!" I cover my mouth. Gojo sensei is friendly and popular!

Kugisaki slaps her forehead. "You're hopeless." She says as she walks out. "Figure it out yourself!"

Damn, who could it be?

A/n: two chapters in a week! Yay! This one is quite short to be honest but hopefully you guys are liking the story so far.
