Chapter 5 - Idk what to call this

I wake up very early today. I want to meet Fushiguro before class.

I go to Fushiguro's room and knock, thankfully not getting whacked on the nose again. I hear a bit of grumbling, then Fushiguro opens the door, looking very tired.

"Itadori, it's 5 AM. What are you doing this early?" He says, looking a bit mad. I didn't notice it was that early, I was too excited. Whoops.

"Sorry to wake you up Fushiguro, I just wanted to have a chat, if that's okay with you." I stutter the words a bit, and I'm very nervous. Fushiguro raises an eyebrow.

"Just to talk, really? Can we do it later, like in class?" he says, tilting his head.

" I just wanted to talk alone, and I want to tell you something." I tried to make up these excuses to have a chat with him, and he could probably tell I was very desperate.

"Alright then, I'll meet you outside in a few minutes. I need to get changed." he closes his door again, and I feel like I won the Olympics.

This is it, I'm going to get closer to him just a bit more!

We meet outside at a bench, and I suddenly forgot how to speak. This is so nerve-racking all of a sudden.

"So did do you want to talk to me about?" Fushiguro speaks first.

"Uhm, so. I wanted to know if you were free tomorrow." Fushiguro looks at me with a confused face.

"Why are you asking??" he says.

"I want to ask you out on a date." I say before I can stop myself. "Uhm, I mean if you don't want to, that's fine, but-"

"Sure. I'll go." Fushiguro cuts me off. Did I just hear that right? Did it my crush just say yes? To a date?!

"Oh. Okay then, see you tomorrow outside your door?" I ask. I can barely hold my excitement right now.

"Yeah, okay." Fushiguro looks at me and smiles. I will never get bored of those.

I swear I was blushing a deep shade of red. Thankfully Fushiguro is walking in front of me. I feel like celebrating on the spot. This is one of the best moments of my life right now. Fushiguro, one of the most amazing people I've ever met is going out on a date with me tomorrow. Is this heaven?

"So, where do you plan on taking me?" Fushiguro asks. That's right, I didn't even think of it when I asked him. What does he like?

"Why don't we go anywhere you want? Just think of it as a thank you for saying yes." This is just an excuse since I don't know where we would go.

"Okay then. I'll tell you where we gonna go tomorrow." he was still looking ahead so I couldn't see what face he was making. But I swear I saw the tips of his ears red. Weird.

"So, fushiguro. Why did you say yes?" I blurt out my thoughts.

"Well, because you're you." I don't understand that. Before I could ask, he stops walking. "Well, it's my dorm. I'm going to get some rest, it's still 5:30." Before I knew it, I put him into a hug. He tenses up a bit, then relaxes again.

"Ne, Fushiguro, you're a great person." I hold him tight. After all, there might not be another chance. "Always remember that."

"U-uh, yeah. Okay." I release my grip to let him go. I can't see his face that well, he hides it as he goes into his dorm. I wonder how he feels about the hug..

I can't concentrate in class. I keep on stealing glances at Fushiguro, and sometimes he would be looking at me. As soon as lessons are over, Kugisaki drags me away from the classroom and we go outside.

"Seriously, I had to be in the middle of all the tension! Can't you guys get a room or something?" She shouts at me, obviously very mad.

Oh yeah, the seats are (from left to right), Fushiguro, Kugisaki then me. Kugisaki had to be in the middle of all of that. To be honest, I forgot she was even there.

So Kugisaki is grumpy now. I keep on apologizing to her, and she finally forgives me after I tell her I would buy her a drink.

"Get me some Coke, Itadori." She says as she sits down on one of the benches. "I could really use one right now." I let out a big sigh then walk to the vending machines. Kugisaki really uses me like a slave.

After I buy the coke, I trudge back to the bench but I see her with Maki-San. Hmm, I wonder what they're talking about.

I was about to interfere when I see them kiss.

Wait.

They KISSED?! My brain was still processing what was happening. Why would Kugisaki hide this from me? I thought we were best friends?!

I decide to walk over to them.

"Uh, am I interrupting anything?" I ask, totally not scared of Maki-San.

"Hah? Since when were you here?" Maki-San breaks the kiss and approaches me. "We're handing a moment!" Like I said, she gets mad at everything I say.

"Um, itadori. I was going to tell you but-"

"Hey, it's fine, besides, you guys are amazing together." I smile it off. Rather than being mad, I'm quite glad I found out about it.

Now I just need to prepare for the date tomorrow...

A/n: third chapter this week?! Oh wow. I'm honestly so bored that I do this every second of the day now. Anyway I couldn't really think of a plot today. So yeah.
