Pretty.. /itafushi/Itadori x Fushiguro

Chapter 9 - Wait

It's been two hours since Fushiguro has gone to the airport, abroad on a mission or training. I miss him already. I want to see his pretty face and perfect hair. I want to know what i did that I made Fushiguro so disappointed.

Wait. This is a good opportunity to ask Kugisaki about yesterday. I can find out what i did wrong.

But she's nowhere to be found. I look in the classroom, the outside, and even knock on her dorm.

Where could she be? She doesn't really do anything except for collect blackmail, or go shopping. Hmm. She has disappeared for about an hour or so from time to time since a few months ago.

Kugisaki did say she was dating Maki senpai.. could she be in her dorm? The probability is 70-30. I need to try it, but Maki senpai does shout at everything i say..

if I go there and she's not there, i will go off to heaven. But i need to try. For Fushiguro!

I stand in front of Maki senpai's door, hands ready to knock. I am very nervous. But i need to! I'm risking my life for this and it better be worth it.

I knock, once, twice.

I dont get a response for a while, but then she comes out, looking quite messy.

"What." She says. I could feel her anger. Is Kugisaki really here? "Hurry, im busy."

"I-i-i was looking for Kugisaki." i mummer. I swear one of Maki senpai's vein pop. i should've written my will before this..

"She's here, but why. We're in the middle of something." Ah. She looks even more mad.

"Please? I really need to talk to her.." i say, my confidence draining.

"Oh, Itadori. What are you doing here?" Kugisaki comes out of the room. Thank you Kugisaki, for letting me live another day.

"Well, I had some problems with Fushi-" and now I'm out of the room and into the hallway, Kugisaki dragging me by the hood.

"Sorry, Maki! This is important." Maki gives Kugisaki a wave and smiles. Why isn't she nice to me? Kugisaki drags me all the way to my dorm, then slams me down on my bed.

"Explain." She say, her pose unbothered. She sits down and waits for me to recall the events.

"Er, I think I did something to make him feel sad or something. He told me to meet up, and i did. At midnight, even. Then I met him and he looked very beautiful, his hair was really-"

"Get on with it." Kugisaki says, grinding her teeth. She's giving off Maki vibes. "I don't need every detail of Fushiguro, just the situation."

"Uhh, so he looked cold then I gave him my hoodie, then he said the moon is beautiful, and then I-"

"Wait. WHAT." She says, eyes wide. "He told you WHAT?" Im so confused right now.

"The moon is beautiful?" I tilt my head. She looks at me like I'm an idiot that doesn't know anything. "What?" Kugisaki lets out a huge sigh. She crosses her arms.

"You are officially the worst when it comes to love." Wait what? What does that have anything to do with love?

"I don't get it??" I was beyond confusion right now. Am I missing out on an important thing?

"Don't you know the poetic way of saying 'I love you' in Japan?" I swear I've learnt this in class before. But I have really bad memory when it comes to studying.

"I forgot?" Kugisaki is raging right now. She really feels like Maki senpai..

she lets out another huge sigh. Okay, what am I doing wrong?

"It means I love you, dumbass."

Silence covered the room as I replayed Kugisakis words over and over.

What. What. WHAT.

"H-h-huh?!" I say. My face was absolutely burning right now. Kugisaki sees this and chuckles.

"You heard it." Kugisaki stands up and heads towards my door. "See you." She walks out of the door and I'm left there, my face super duper red.

So, Fushiguro likes me? And I like him back! And he basically confessed first. How could I not understand that? I really am dumb. I should study more. I lay in my bed, pillow over my head. My face is probably really red right now.

So, I really have a chance with Fushiguro..
