Chapter 10 - Fushiguro

Ive had a crush on Itadori since forever. And I mean from the moment I met him. The way he wants everyone to have a proper death, and how he's so selfless. He's like a walking sunshine. He's amazing. And when I found out he was going to study in this school, I couldn't keep my heart from beating. Fast.

Itadori has been acting really weird since I gave him my present. He seems really fidgety, and he seems anxious around me. I'm starting to feel like he doesn't like me anymore.

That's why I've decided that I would just confess to Itadori, then move on.

But I just can't find the right time. I got quite frustrated and nervous, so I started to unconsciously avoid Itadori. He probably noticed this.

Besides, I heard Kugisaki go into Itadoris dorm. They whispered about some stuff, really suspiciously, then Kugisaki barged into my room. She slammed open my door and looked at me.

"What is it?" I ask, pretending I wasn't trying to eavesdrop next door.

"I have a question for you." She says. She's looking at me with squinted eyes. "Do you have a crush?" That caught me off guard. Do I tell her it's itadori? She looks at me like she just won the lottery. "So, who is it? Is she cute? Does she go to this school?" She asks. She's leaning closer to me with every question.

"I-I'm pan." I blurt out. That makes her pause. Did I just out myself? Dammit, I really couldn't think of anything else, brain?!

"Oh. Well, now I'm sure it's a boy. So, who is it?" Shit. She caught me.

"U-uh. Well he's really popular and nice to me.." I try to not give much away. But looks like I failed. Kugisaki gives me the biggest smirk. "Don't you dare tell him." I try to threaten her, but then realise that she has 10x more blackmail than me.

"Of course, ~fu~shi~guro ~." Kugisaki walks out of the room, probably heading towards itadori. If she tells him I will actually murder her. I flop on my bed.

"I want to ask you out on a date." Itadori says. My heart stops. Did I hear this right? "Uhm, I mean if you don't want to, that's fine, but-"

"Sure. I'll go." I blurt that out. I couldn't miss out on this opportunity.

"Oh. Okay then, see you tomorrow outside your door?" Itadori says. He's fidgeting a lot, and his ears are red.

"Yeah, okay." I say. I give him a smile to assure him it was fine.

I start walking ahead since I don't think I could face him right now.

"So, where do you plan on taking me?" I ask him so I can focus.

"Why don't we go anywhere you want? Just think of it as a thank you for saying yes." Itadori replies after a few seconds. Hmm, anywhere I want?

"Okay then. I'll tell you where we gonna go tomorrow." I say. I have a place that's apparently a really romantic place. My whole face was probably red.

"So, fushiguro. Why did you say yes?" Itadori asks

"Well, because you're you." I say without a second thought. Of course it's because it's him. "Well, it's my dorm. I'm going to get some rest, it's still 5:30." I try to go, but itadori pulls me into a hug all of a sudden.

"Ne, Fushiguro, you're a great person." He says. My eyes widen, half at the contact and half at the words. "Always remember that." He says. I can see his ears red.
