The grand city of Panchala buzzed with excitement as the day of Draupadi's Swayamwar dawned. Nobles, warriors, and princes from distant lands had gathered, their hearts pounding with anticipation. The magnificent palace stood adorned in resplendent decorations, a testament to the grandeur of the occasion.
Amidst the opulence, Princess Purnima, petite and resolute, stood as a guest, her eyes filled with curiosity. She watched the proceedings, her heart heavy with emotions. She had come to support Draupadi, her new friend, and to bear witness to this pivotal moment in her life.Karna, the valiant Angraj, had accompanied her, but he had chosen not to participate. As they mingled with the crowd, the murmurs grew louder. Karna, one of the most skilled archers of his time, was urged by many to try his luck.
"Karna, you could easily win this Swayamwar," someone whispered.
Karna, his eyes unwavering, responded, "Like my Aaradhya Mahadev, I too will have only one Ardhangini. Purnima is my wife for this life and for all my saat janams."
Purnima, standing beside him, nodded in agreement. "Lord Ram is the Maryada Purushottam. He is considered as the most ideal man. Lord Ram has only one wife, Mata Sita. In fact, Lord Ram had promised Mata Sita that he would never marry any other woman. My Arya too has promised me to live our lives together, whether it's a Raj Mahal or Van Vaas."
