A few moments passed before Bonnie realized they were a half an hour away from her apartment. So she began thinking of her options for escape or possibly revenge.
Okay, how am I going to play this? Think, think, think! Umm.. OH! When Zara unlocks the car door I'll kick her in the face and run while she's still on the ground. Then of course I'll be immediately shot through the head by Lyann... that was a terrible plan. I gotta think, there's gotta be something better than that. Think, Bonnie, think! Umm well... uhh I'VE GOT IT! My emergency phone! How could I forget about my emergency phone that I kept in the bathroom just in case I ever got trapped in my own home. Thank goodness for my overprotective dad, may he rest in peace, who was always on my case about two phones. Now that I think about that.. Anyways, so I'll just ask to go to the bathroom and text the police while I'm there. If I can, I'll keep the phone so the police can track me and maybe they'll take the whole mob down. No, no I can't even be worried about taking out the mob, I just have to make sure I can escape then I'll have to leave the country, learn a different language and change my hair- I wonder what hair color I'm going to go with. My hair is now a dark brown, so maybe I'll dye it black or...
Bonnie's thoughts raced until the car slowed to a stop at the back of her apartment complex.
"You ready, Love?" Lyann asked the girls, while unbuckling her seatbelt, jumping out of the car, and grabbing the keys out of the ignition.
"Yeah," both girls responded with at the same time.
Bonnie unbuckled her seatbelt and waited for Zara to unlock her door. She was still avoiding looking at Lyann for any period of time, she was calming down, but her rage at the moment was still burning brightly within her. Zara unbuckled her seatbelt as well but took extra care not to touch the bruise right above her right hip, she got out the car and opened the door for Bonnie.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome." Zara walked past her to Lyann to get some more ammo for her gun, she was running low and kept forgetting to reload it, but she still managed to whisper in Bonnie's ear while passing by her. "Joker."
Bonnie glared at Zara as she walked back to her side, but Zara pretended not to notice as a smirk slowly creeped on her face.
"Bitch," Bonnie mumbled underneath her breath.
Zara heard her and laughed. "That's not what you wanna call someone who just reloaded their gun and could you shoot at any time?"
Bonnie glared but didn't respond, which caused Zara to smile at her victorious.
You might have won this battle, Zara. But you better believe I'm going to win the war. That's right, you know what this decides it. I'll take her down, Lyann and their fucking mafia down with them.
Lyann ignored this in favor of checking out their surroundings, she hadn't seen a cop car going in, but it wouldn't hurt to make sure they aren't seen by anyone.
"Zara, please hide your gun. Do you want the police to be called by some racist neighbor seeing a white-ish looking girl, a mixed girl and a brown girl walking around with a gun?"
"Really, you had to bring race into this?"
"We're in Texas," Lyann said, giving Zara a pointed look.
"White-ish looking?" Bonnie asked looking at Lyann with raised eyebrows.
Lyann shrugged and responded, "I'm mixed Italian and Mexican, but most people think I'm white."
"Huh, interesting."
"Maybe." Lyann and Bonnie awkwardly stared at each other for a couple of seconds and then Zara cleared her throat loudly and pointedly.
